We came to Zumbrota Ford on the recommendation of a family member due to an accident in which our car was a total loss. We found a car on the internet that we thought would fit our budget and our family so we set up a visit. Todd greeted us right away by helping us find a place to park as they are under renovations to make the facility a better experience but once inside you quickly realize it's the people and not the building that makes a dealership tick. Todd got our information and got Matt involved in the financing aspect of the sale while we took the car for a test drive once we got back and had a tour of the building we met with Matt to go over the numbers and all we can say is WOW as Matt was able to come in under budget and put us in our 2010 Taurus. \r \r Todd and Matt and the rest of the staff made us feel right at home, the atmosphere at the dealership is light and fun-filled with the salespeople laughing and having a good time at a place they clearly like like to be at. Our experience with Zumbrota Ford was overall exceptional. Todd Fitzgibbons, our salesman, and Matt Moore, our finance person, were very helpful with our car buying experience. Todd was very knowledgeable about the Ford Escape that we bought and thoroughly reviewed every aspect of the vehicle with us before we left the dealership lot. Matt Moore was very knowledgeable in the finance area and made sure we understood everything about the financial paperwork before we signed the final deal. We began looking on-line at used vehicles to purchase. When I found two that we wanted to look at, I called Zumbrota Ford to discuss those vehicles, and our possible trade in. We really didn't think that they would accept our car for a trade in since it had a cracked windshield, some bumper damage, and was 17 years old!! But, alas, they did take it as a trade in,! We were a little nervous about purchasing a car after 25 years of not owning a 'newer' vehicle. Todd Fitzgibbons immediately greeted us with a smile and a handshake as my husband and I walked into Zumbrota Ford. From that point on, our experience of purchasing a car was amazing. From test driving to signing on the dotted line, we received the best customer service and upbeat attitudes. Kristin, went over our credit scoring, and we were preapproved the same day. I' was a little nervous about that part of the car buying because we didn't have the best score in the world. She also gave us some information about simple steps on how to improve our credit rating. She didn't belittle us, and we felt very comfortable with her as we talked about financing. Always looking for the best deal, we wanted to sleep on it, and weigh our options. When I returned (with my father), a few days later, the vehicle we were initially interested in had sold over the weekend. However, Todd already had some options for us in mind. So, after a test drive, I purchased a much newer vehicle, with less miles, better gas mileage, and it was only $1,000 more than the one I was initially looking at. As you can imagine there was some down time, where we had to wait for various items to be completed, but everyone was cordial, always offering a beverage, or asking if we needed anything. Todd would frequently check in on us to see if we needed anytihng. There wasn't any high pressured sales pitch, which I was so thankful for. The owner of the Zumbrota Ford was also on hand to visit with my dad while I was completing paperwork, and he thanked me for purchasing the vehicle. After all the paperwork was done, and I had the keys in my hand, Todd even took a picture of me standing by my vehicle with my camera that I posted on facebook. Everyone we came into contact with at Zumbrota Ford was genuinely pleasant and so very helpful. We will certainly recommend them highly to anyone. As a matter of fact, it hasn't even been a week since I purchased my car, and I'm going over today with my dad, because he is going to purchase one too!
