NO! Just say no to this company. Had a water valve break and was flooding my garage. Called Yes, and they sent out two plumbers within 90 minutes. Great up to this point. They evaluated the problem, and then I was told how they price out of a book and every job has a flat rate and is non-negotiable. I was told about all the reasons that I was fortunate to have chosen Yes plumbing and all about their warranty. They told me they needed to replace a valve and install a regulator. Total cost...over $1,100.00! (This job took them two hours and I was able to find the parts they used at the hardware store for $120.00.) Seriously? That puts them at $475.00 per hour for labor! If you are in a hurry and money is no object, call these guys. Otherwise, call someone who charges time and materials, and you will save a ton of money. Yes Plumbing is a rip off! I will tell everyone I can about this. more

YES PLUMBING! - "The Yes man CANT!"\r \r I had a water main break at the house with a water leak coming up from the front lawn near the box where the main cutoff is.\r \r I called YES to come out with the hopes of a quick repair- Unfortunately, they quoted me $5,000 to fix the problem by running a whole new line and trying into the house. This would also include permitting it with the city. All told - 2 day job. Every time I would ask about just digging up and fixing the problem rather than run a whole new line they would come up with some excuse and stir the conversation back to installing a whole new line.\r \r I called someone else who came out and fixed the problem in 2 hours by , get this.. digging up and repairing the line. It was the fitting where the street line connects to the house line. \r \r I had called YES, because I had heard there radio commercial several times on the radio. I assume most people probably fall for the slick sales tactics of these people, but hopefully you more

Yes Air Condition came out and tried to charge $500 for a capacitor and starter kit.\r The capacitor is only a $20.00 part.  I did not need a starter kit\r They also charged $49.00 for service call.  The technitian also said we might\r Need a new unit, which was under warranty but wanted to charge $3000 for \r New unit.  I told him to get out of my house.  I had the unit repaired for $140\r Be careful using them.  \r "The Yes Man Can And Will Rip You Off" more

In March 2012, the plumber gave me an estimate for a house filtration system for $2,400 with about $1,600 for the system and $800 for labor. Being new to the filtration system, I requested for an orginial receipt for the filtration system after the plumber purchased it. \r \r At the end, I was charged on my credit card for over $2,800 and did not provide me the original receipt for the parts and the filtration system. \r I searched online the filtration model they installed only costs about $500. \r \r It has been almost 4 months by now, I ended up agreeing the resolution of the dispute by paying $2,400. However, the remaining $400 is still not credit back by now.. What a nightmare and frustration!! \r \r I will not do business with this company again. If you want to, please make sure to obtain estimate IN WRITING, else this overcharge may happen again. more

Say NO to the yes man!!! 6/19/2012

On June 18, 2012 I called Yes Air Conditioning & Plumbing to have my AC repaired and they sent out a repairman named ED. I was working through my bank and after talking to a very nice woman on the phone (Shelly) we worked out all of the logistics for them to be paid. My bank insists on paying the company directly so BofA was to mail them a direct check. So after waiting ALL DAY in comes ED with the most unprofessional rude attitude you could imagine. He was tired and told me he couldn't believe he was sent back out to this house. I was appauled at the amount of unprofessionalism. It was truly unbelieaveable. He did inform me that the AC was old and needed to be replaced but a charge would get us through the summer. He said he would not charge our ac unit without a check on the spot for $300 and he proceded to tell me Shelly was an idiot and had no clue what she was talking about as far as our payment arraingment with the bank. We told him to please do something as it is 106 degrees out more

I don't know if this man is prejudice or if he treats every family this way but I am beyond dissapointed with this company. And here I sit writing this as we are sweating our A*** off. Now I am off to look for another company that I am sure will be happy to take our money. more

He spent a lot of time explaining things, and checking our plumbing. He did not talk down to me, and was very thorough in examining the entire house and making suggestions and giving helpful advice. The faucet he installed works great, and he was so clean and tidy (unlike some other service people we have had in our home). :D Sean knew what he was doing and he did it exceptionally well; a very pleasant and polite technician. We also appreciated how nice Courtney was when we talked to him about scheduling; all your personnel has been most helpful. HUGE HUGE SCAM--stay far, far, far, far away!\r Called for service and was quoted a price. Of course on the day of service the price went up. Then all of these problems were found with a very costly price tag. NONE of these were supported on a second opinion from a different company. more

On August 1st I called YES and your phones were down. this morning a gentleman called and stated he was sorry that I could not get there. a service representative named Wayne came this morning and found our problem and by five thirty (5:30) p.m. we had new duct work. The two (2) installers (Ed and Mark) were excellent and cleaned up after they were done. Your service and employees go the extra mile to do the job correctly. I have the pleasure of having a service agreement with your company, and proudly say for about the past 4 years. Recently, my air conditioning unit broke down, and Zach was sent out to assess the situation. He determined that the ""fan motor"" was fixing to go out very soon. He asked if I have any warranty papers of the unit, which I had retrieved, and he did his research. Zach then told me that according to the warranty, the unit had to be totally broken before the warranty would cover the part to include the labor. a part was ordered, and Zach said that it could be 5 days before the part could come in. Later in the evening Jerome called me and expressed his concern of my family being without any Air in these extreme hot days. Jerome told me he would get in touch with Zach, and maybe they can work something out and we would not have to wait to long for the part. To make along story short, after the team work of Jerome and Zach, I wish to say that these two ""Service Specialists"" are the top of the line professionals. In the past, only Jerome serviced my unit, well from now on both Zach and Jerome will be called if I have a problem with the unit. I wish to express my sincere gratitude for the high professionalism that your people give to us customers. Zach and Jerome are two men that should be rewards for their high standards and respect for their customers. ""JOB WELL DONE!"" more

What A Scam !!! 3/29/2012

BEWARE !!! Called to install a simple sink. Charged me $49 just to come out and try to scam me. Two guys showed up and spent most of an hour on the phone preparing for a big sales pitch instead of just getting busy and installing the damn sink. They gave me a quote for $1000 to install and then also tried to get me to sign a long term service contract on the whole house. Told them I would be insane to have them do the work. One hour later, I had a real plumber install the sink for $50. God help you if you let these people in the door of your house. more

I am not generally one to complain but feel the need to in this situation. The plumber jacked-up the price to lower it with a measly $50.00 discount. I needed to have a toilet replaced and was given a estimate way too high. I chose to call another company. They wasted my time on a small project. more
