Best

One of the best ATL has to offer. Ive been here on romantic dates to blow out birthday bashes. The food is great, beautiful atmosphere and the service is awesome too.

Worst

I've been there twice in the last month and struggled to find anything here worth trying again until things change. Two weeks ago my wife and I were at Wisteria and couldn't agree...

My number one restaurant 3/17/2005

Wisteria is my favorite restaurant. Each time I visit it seems that the food, service and wine list keep improving. When friends and family come from out of town, Wisteria is the first restaurant that we take them. It is one of those spots where you always feel welcome. One of the special things about this place is that the service is exceptional. From the first time I visited they made me feel like family. The quaint atmosphere is very inviting. I highly recommend the pork ( the sweet potatoes are to die for!) and the steak with mac-n-cheese (incredible!) Also they have the best calamari in town. They have one of the most extensive wine lists in the city. The staff seems well educated and the manager even helped us to make our wine selection. I woulds suggest Wisteria to anyone looking for a great meal. Pros: service, value, food more

Another bad experience 3/11/2005

I have given Wisteria a try 4 times in the last two months and the best I have had was an OK experience. The food quality is very poor, service needs work and hostess is stuffy and unfriendly. There are much better choices in the highlands. The atmosphere is cozy, which makes up for some of the food short comings. Also, a place with thier prices should not have a wines list that is printed on the back of their menu. They do have a few nice wine selections, but overall a very limited list. Pros: atmoshere Cons: food quality, valet only parking more

Outstanding Food, exceptional Service 12/27/2004

The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable, gracious and very accommodating. I highly suggest the crab bisque, and the herb crusted Lamb, it was exceptional. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience whether romantic or with a group of friends. We will definitely be back soon. more

Always at the top of my list! 3/15/2004

This is one of my favorite places to eat! The services is attentive, but not overbearing. No one I've been there with has ever ordered anything that wasn't awesome! They have incredible wild boar sausage and the mushroom tart is fantastic (in the summer, it was a Vidalia onion tart). The owner/chef is on-site and very personable. The wine list is extensive, with several moderately priced choices. Pros: delicious food, great ambiance, attentive staff more

Great place 10/13/2003

Consistently good food -- try the catfish; the pork and beef dishes are excellent; skip the salmon. Service is sometimes less than what it should be but no reason not to go there. Much better than any of the restaurants in Va. Highlands. more

Atlanta's Best! 1/9/2003

By far my favorite restaurant in Atlanta! It's the perfect place for taking clients or a date. The ambiance is intimate and beautiful. And, the food is excellent. Wisteria has the absolute BEST chocolate and vanilla creme brulee in the world! Pros: delicious, great valet service, no kids! Cons: nosy, need reservations, not for large groups more

Don't miss this one! 12/18/2002

One of my favorite spots in Atlanta. The food is consistently good, the service is excellent and the price is right. more

Relaxing 11/27/2002

Wisteria is the place we always end up going. It's perfect after a hard day. The setting is comfortable, welcoming. It works just as well for two people as it does eight. (and we've done both) The menu offers a great selection, changing just every so often. The food never disappoints. The service is outstanding and the wine choice good. Pros: valet parking, right size more

Great Food and Fun! 11/26/2002

We have been to Wisteria many times and have worked our way through Jason's menu. You can't miss on the Catfish. You MUST try the Pork Tenderloin and the salads and deserts are to die for! Pros: Great Menu, Romantic, Friendly Cons: Slightly noisy more

Excellent food true to the south 11/22/2002

Don't miss the catfish or the grits! Elegant setting that fits in perfectly with the neighborhood. Pros: Southern cuisine, Fun local crowd more
