I've never written an online review, but I really felt compelled to share my horrendous experience. I've been a loyal customer of Willow Cleaners for the last three years, but, sadly, I will not be returning ever again.
Three weeks ago, I dropped off two high quality silk dresses, and they were returned with inexplicable stains and little tiny holes all over. They also steamed out all the pleats that are part of the design despite the fact that I asked them repeatedly not to remove them. I do understand this sort of things happen from time to time, but what truly disappoints me is that the owner lady never owned up to the mistakes and blamed others and me! She told me that it's not their fault, and that we should complain to the subcontractor they use to do the dry cleaning for them. She also said that this is what happens with delicate items and that it's our fault for bringing them in to get cleaned! When I pushed her further to address the issue, she questioned whether the damages were already done by me when the garments were brought in. That remark finally did it for me, and I walked out.
I can overlook the fact that they break my shirt buttons, do mediocre alterations, and have to bring garments in multiple items to get stains removed, but their attitude towards their customers is unacceptable.
