Sometimes you wait &wait to find the right hairstylist for yourself. That has been the way it has been 4 me until now. Nancy the owner of this salon dyed and styled my hair, now I have the perfect color and shine. But because I decided to let my hair grow( it is too short now), I wanted to also experiment and try on the latest wig design(very light weight) and longer than my natural hair. Till my hair grows, I can glamourize my look for evenings and special events with my new cleo wig. Nancy is an experienced hairstylist/artist who has made me feel sexy again. This place is great, but Nancy and Binky the dog, make it fabulous! I was thinking about getting extension, never having them before, I turned to Citysearch for reviews in the area. Obviously, this was the top of reviews for good reason. Nancy is so friendly and easy to talk to, nevermind beautiful! Binky is the funniest dog, he knows what is happening in the salon and is hilarious. I would recommend this place handsdown. Nancy is the most nurturing person and she's so fun to be with. She did the most awesome job on my eyebrows. I lost most of the e yebrows during chemo, I was apprehensive about getting them tatooed but Nancy did such a wonderful job!! Not too much, not too little. I, unfortunately, was recently involved in a terrible automobile accident that required most of my hair to be shaved, due to surgery. Needless to say, I was devastated about my appearance. I went to Hair Extensions of RI, Inc after suffering a painfully short haircut by a hair dresser where I work in Boston. My local hairdresser shook her head and helped me work with it better but I was so miserable, I felt like a boy. So I decided to go to Hair Extensions of RI just to look. I've never worn a wig but have worn clip in ponytails so I was open to anything. Nancy, the owner, listened to my concerns and ideas and then suggested a hairpiece that wasn't a full wig but rather a very long piece called a ""Hollywood Hair Extension"" that covered the back of my head and used my own front hair to blend in naturally. It was too long for me so she cut it into the perfect style that blended with the length of the front of my hair and angled towards my face. I can wear it in a low ponytail or sweep it off my face and clip it on top of my head. I LOVE IT. I feel so beautiful and feminine again. Nancy took so much time with me and told me how to care for it. She even gave me a stand to put my hair on when and if I decide to take it off. Her selection is awesome. She was kind, patient , very knowledgeable and wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with everything before I left. Nancy is a true professional and a beautiful woman inside and out. For years I’ve wanted permanent eyeliner on my upper and lower lids but was always leery of the outcome. A friend of mine had this procedure done by a doctor; I wasn’t impressed. The RI Hair Extensions website convinced me to give it a try, the site is fabulous! I dropped in for a consult with Nancy; she was very informative about the procedure but asked me to think about it because it would be “permanent.” The next day I booked my appointment. On the day of the service I brought pictures of what I would like. Nancy was extremely honest as to what would look best and why. After numbing the area she began the procedure. At 6pm today, I had a hair emergency. My hair piece was a mess, and I had no idea what to do. I called Nancy, and she said she could meet me at the salon. I put my kids in the car (we live in CT) and away we went. \r She met me there, and I was able to take my time to find a new one. I was there until probably 7:30, and she didn't care- she just wanted to make sure I had what I wanted, needed, and was comfortable with my choice. \r She gives an honest opinion, and will never steer you in the wrong direction. I went into RI hair extensions last week for a fun new hairpiece. I was so happy to see them. Three years ago I got really sick and lost all my hair. RI Hair extensions made me feel like myself again. They are so talented there that they were able to take a human hair wig and style it just as my natural hair used to look. I was so happy that I wouldn't stand out too much and feel embarrassed about the way I looked, and all my friends and family didn't even know I had lost my hair.
