NICE releif to be helped quick 4/8/2012

OPEN ON EASTER!! WOAH talk about saving me for Monday- I came to see my great aunt in Whitney's town I had to fumble past my bridge card an my life savings amounted to 47 dollars and 27 cents I would have felt Dizzy at the $235.96 it cost to get my car fixed. I guess in closing my message to you is- KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK WHITNEY AUTO SERVICE. more

Once again Whitneys does an outstanding job. A phone call and Wala my car is gone and fixed. Just like in fairy books. A wave of the wand and its done. A great thanks to Kevin (Since you were gone playing in the great north Ha) Ken rest assured that the business is in great hands with Kevin and the great crew you have assembled over the years. THey are real attentive to the small things 4/7/2012

My experience with Whitney's auto has so far been excelent that is why as long as you stay in business i will continue to bring my cars in when ever i need a mechanic and i cant do the repair myself more

Dishonest, Incompetent, Thief 3/6/2012

I recently had a very bad experience at Whitney's. It concluded with Whitney admitting that he had lied to me about what work they really did and that he didn't care. He ended up breaking my radiator while doing a coolant drain and refill. When I brought my car down the street to another shop they said that Whitney's is the shop with the most complaints in the area. Take my advice: ask anyone in cars about Whitneys before you go there and you will find out that they are no good. I found out the hard way and lost hundreds of dollars there. more

Mucho Bueno Whitney!! Whitney's has been in Ysp. for years. He is a great guy. Any time I needed help with my car, I could always call Whitney, Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. People who can't afford to fix their cars get disgruntle when the bill comes. Whitney will always give to the best deal. WHITNEY'S AUTO IS THE BEST!!!! more

Great job fixing my car!! I appreciate that and have known whitney as my mechanic actually 12 years- he tracks my spending with him and I saw I actuially spent over 5 grand with whitney over the years- and Myself and whitney had a discussion about all the bad reviews and I asked him why am I always so thrilled with my experience and these other clowns all so sad?? Whitney told me ""you know oe the difference btwn you and them is when I aske for 800.oo bucks you give it to me and that allows me to do the necessary work. If you look at all the whiners it stems from their lack of money. them talking about they cant afford a new tire- well hell yes if you buy a used tire you probally will get screwed and to be honest I dont even want them for a customer. the kind of people I like are the ones with a job and the money to properyly allow me to buy parts to completley fix the car"" when whitney said that it really rang true that poor people suck, Even my pastor told the congreation last week ""the best thing you can do for a poor person is not be one""!! how true is that!!! more

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN 12/27/2011

DONT GO HERE EVER If i could out negative stars i would. The owner is a racist, and seems proud to tell you about it.. The entire time i was there he rambled on and on about how black people are stupid and ignorant and how he charges them more money for worse service He also told me that all people who are poor are poor because they are lazy and stupid. The owner is extremely ignorant, racist and cruel. The owner also told me that he often takes things from cars, messes with cars, prices and quality of service based on peoples race, gender and opinion. He talks crap about his employees. In fact he told me about how one of his mechanics wanted to give a guy a better deal on tires and Whitney said not to because he was black and poor anyway. If I weer an employer id be thrilled to see my staff go above and beyond. The entire 30 minutes i was there he talked on and on about very offensive things. He was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. RUN RUN RUN DONT EVER GIVE THIS JERK YOUR MONEY HE WILL SCREW YOU more

Terrible service. Never come here. 9/20/2011

The service was terrible. I went to get a used tire, and paid $44.00, which does NOT include tire disposal. The first tire that was put on had a bubble in the sidewall meaning that it's not safe to drive on. I discovered this when i got home, and he agreed to put another tire on. The second tire was flat in 1 day, and later, I discovered that BOTH used tires were placed in my trunk. This means that I have to dispose of both used tires. Additionally, he was EXTREMELY CONDESCENDING. He tried to push a power steering flush on me that I refused. After the initial refusal, he continued to push it asking if I didn't see the value, but I continued to refuse the service. I asked for a quote for struts, and Whitney would not give me a straight answer. He also told me that I obviously didn't care for my car (because i refused the power steering flush) and refused any further help. If I could, I would give this rating 0 stars. I will never make another purchase here, or send any of my friends here. more

Dishonest and Rude 7/25/2011

Whitney's billed me $75 more than their up-front estimate and refused to allow me to take my car from their shop until the bill was paid. Questions regarding the bill were met with rudeness and arrogance. No way I would ever do business with this place again. more

Avoid this Place 7/25/2011

I got a quote over the phone for some repair work. When I brought my car in, I was told that the cost of the repair would be higher than the original estimate. When the repair work was completed, the final bill was even higher (by about $60). To top it all off, the repair work was poorly done - I still have the same problem with my car. Needless to say, stay away from this shop. more
