Weymouth Town Taxi/Braintree

This is a response to Michael A. review. Please see below What Michael wrote over one year later on yelp.com about Weymouth Town Taxi on 8/7/2013.\r \r Let me tell you this is the last company you want to call. They are never on time. They lie about times. Once you see the scary looking driver you won't want to get in their horrible cars. The drivers also run the time during the ride and make you pay more which the driver pockets THEY DO NOT WAIT FOR HANDICAPPED OR ELDERLY PEOPLE. Trust me this review is dead on and this company is about greed greed greed. I wanted to give zero stars. If you want good customer service call Green Taxi of South Weymouth.\r \r This is a very cheap way to advertise for Green Taxi. I am sure the owner of Green Taxi does not approve this. more

I always use Town Taxi when I travel I can make my reservation in advance. So as soon as I book my flight I call them to set up my ride to the airport. I am a regular customer and sometimes they send me a towncar with no extra charge. The girls on the phone and the drivers are always so nice. The best thing is they track your flight when you come back to Boston so the driver is waiting at Logan no matter what time your flight comes in. more

HORRIBLE!!! Do yourself a favor and call Green Taxi who won't lie to you and who will be there when they say they will be there. Dirty cars and lies is all you will get from Town Taxi. Don't waste your time with these fools! Green Taxi is a lot cheaper to Logan too! more

I would highly recommend this company! The women in the office are very helpfull and a pleasure to talk to, and taxis get me where I need to go on time! They also have a limo/party bus service both of which I have used, once for my anniversary and once for a friends bachelorette party and the drivers were both awesome and the price is a lot cheaper than other companies that I checked out! I will continue to use their services and recommend them to people! more

I was going on vacation and my friend was supposed to be driving us to the airport very early in the morning and she called us at 3:30 am (a half hour before she was supposed to pick us up) to say she couldnt get us cause her son was sick... I panicked! I called one taxi company in Weymouth and they did not answer so I called Weymouth Town Taxi they answered right away, was extremely polite and said no problem we can be there whenever you need us! I asked if they could be here in 15 min and 15 min later they were at my door! The man got out of the car and helped us with our bags and we were on our way! He was very polite and funny and chatted with us the whole time! Over all it was a great service we got there in time and with smiles on our faces! I have used them several times since then and have never had a problem with them and the office staff Ive spoken to Patty and Liz are very nice and always a pleasure to talk to! more

today waited for a cab they said 15 minutes, cab never came 40 minutes later still no cab. Called service said they were there and called me. I asked for phone number they called, she couldn't find it and said ummm,is the phone number your calling from...she lied. then when I asked to reissue a cab, going to be half hour or less so 30 minutes later still no cab. Called see what was going on, are they on their way, "no they are not, but they will be" with an attitude. This is only the second time i have taken a cab and dispatch service is HORRIBLE. Called Green taxi and here and 10 minutes. more

i was in a cab with my 3 year old kid and the guy flirted with me so i said get lost and he stoped in a parking lot i got out and ran with my kid and we were 1 mile from my house! i will never do that againZ!!! more

Besides the trash, dirty silverware and toys rattling around in the car, the cabbie totally ripped us off. Double charged for one trip with a stop (did not break down the fare but charged twice), after the stop the driver simply disabled the meter!!! Very sketchy, the receipt does not comply with any state regulations, no medallion number displayed anywhere, STAY AWAY! Cons: SEE BELOW more

My mother has always called Weymouth Town Taxi when she needed a ride home from my place. Services had been okay until recently when she was told up front that she owed a 70-year old cab driver $3.00 for the ride the night before. The meter was at $13.00 even before she got into the taxi. According to the report that was filed by this senior cab driver, he said she indicated to him that she only had $10.00 in her purse and the cab fare was $13.00, and he had to contribute to the cab fare himself. My mother insisted that she gave him $20.00 and got $4.00 back as change. Town Taxi spokesperson said that this senior cab driver had been working there for 18 years and would never lie. Well, I have known my mother for 40 years and I don?t think she would lie either. Town taxi never mentioned throughout the complaint about the $4.00 change that was handed to my mother by this senior cab driver, only the $3.00 that my mother owed them. Of course! I recently used Weymouth Town Taxi to take my family to and from Logan airport. The service was wonderful - they were right on time when I needed to be picked up very early in the morning and then they were there waiting for me at the airport when we arrived. The driver was very courteous. The office people were extremely nice when I made my reservations. I will tell everyone about this taxi service. more

I called Town Taxi to reserve a cab a day ahead of time as I knew my flight was going to be during peak rush hour traffic. An hour before, i called to confirm. They never showed up and I ended up having to call around to find a different service. I had to change my flight and rearrange my travel plans thanks to them. They are usually ontime for pick ups or within 5 minutes. I've only used them several times. They wouldn't pick me up once since I was a town too far? I guess that was strange. My neighborhood is not a terror zone. From a crime rating from 1-10,10 being the highest, my town was rated 1. So, I guess I had a bad dispatcher. I'd give them another shot if my local service is too busy. PROS: Ontime CONS: Cabs are a bit dirty more
