DISCOVERED THIS PLACE THIS MORNING AND I LOVE IT! KIND OF LIKE A HOLE IN THE WALL PLACE BUT SOOOOO GOOD. GOOD PRICES TOO. I WAS SEATED RIGHT AWAY, MY BREAKFAST ONLY TOOK 10 MINUTES TO MAKE, I GOT A REFILL ON MY COFFEE WITHOUT ASKING, AND I WAS EVEN ASKED HOW MY MEAL WAS. THE WAITRESSES ARE OLDER BUT THEY SEEMED OLD LADY NICE. THEY ALL SEEMED TO BE HUSSELING AS FAST AS THEY COULD GO AND REALLY PAYING ATTENTION TO PEOPLE. more

Good Food, Good Prices! 12/14/2002

Wailana is open 24 hours a day which is good for jetlagging Mainland tourists. We had a very nice breakfast here; my husband ordered the local specialty of Spam & Portugese sausage and was very pleased. Service is very fast and friendly but we never felt rushed. The lunch and dinner menus looked appealing, but we weren't in the area long enough. Considering how expensive dining can be in Hawaii, this was a pleasant surprise. We will visit again next time we're in Waikiki. Pros: fresh pineapple, friendly staff, reasonable prices Cons: tight parking more
