I found Vulcan quite expensive considering I only required a french drain on one cellar wall. The salesman had said the job would take about 5-6 hours and about a seven man crew....

Just wonderful 3/3/2014

Vulcan Basement Waterproofing did a great job. I hired Mike and his crew to install waterproof flooring for my basement. They were able to show up right on time and the results were excellent. They were very communicative, competent, and professional. They know what they were doing and did what they said they would. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a high quality job done right. more

Very pleasant experience 2/7/2014

I had a wonderful experience with Vulcan Basement Waterproofing. The price was good and I appreciated their speed in terms of getting the job done. They came in and out in a day and I've had no problems since they did the job. They installed a new French drain and sump pump for our basement with great care. They cleaned up very well and I would strongly recommend them. more

Strongly recommended 1/6/2014

Vulcan Basement Waterproofing was very dependable. They provided a very thorough inspection and installed a new waterproofing pump for us. It was a great deal of work yet they did a fantastic job. They completed the installation within the time they said they would and were very neat, professional, and polite. Their services are very comparably priced and we're very pleased with it. I'm definitely going to recommend them to anyone who needs basement work done. more

Fast and efficient replacement of pump and installation of back up pump 1/5/2014

Our current waterproofing was done nearly 17 years ago by Vulcan. The original installation was fast and wonderful. The original pump is still working. We recently finished a part of the basement and we wanted to install a back-up battery operated pump. Since we were doing this job and since the original pump was nearly 17 years, we decided to replace the original pump at the same time as installing the back up pump. The work was done within a few days of contacting Vulcan and the whole job took about 1 hour only. The work was done very neatly and the workers were very considerate and conscientious. It is wonderful to be able to contact a business that did great work 17 years ago and still find them just as good. more

Vulcan Basement Waterproofing installed a French drain and a pump in the unfinished side of our basement. Their guys did great work. They really did an awesome job. The sales guy was nice, but a little pushy. He was trying all the tricks of the trade. more

French drain system installed. Completely satisfied. 12/12/2013

I used Vulcan Basement Waterproofing after Hurricane Sandy. The first process was to kind of recover from the hurricane, because my basement was ruined. We wanted to put in a French drain system. We knew that wouldn't stop anything like Sandy, but we wanted to finish our basement so we wouldn't have any kind of water leakage. They put the French drain system around the perimeter of the basement. We've been very happy with it. It definitely does its job. We didn't have too many problems before, but now we have absolutely zero issues with water coming in. The basement even smells better! The system takes the water and dampness out. more

The sales representative from Vulcan Basement Waterproofing who first came was a lovely gentleman. He explained everything so thoroughly. Being a senior citizen, I loved that he explained things in a way I really understood. I had my basement waterproofed with a French drain. The employees who came were absolutely lovely, too. They worked and worked until they got it done. They were extremely polite and courteous toward me. more

Efficient 10/24/2013

We had water coming up in our basement. This was the second time we had someone over to work in our basement. The first time, they did an inefficient job. We still had water coming up in the basement. Vulcan came and our guy assessed everything and gave really good recommendations that were not costly. They were in and out in one day and left everything clean. We recently had a season of hurricanes and had not a drop of water in my basement. They did an efficient job and I honestly didn't think it would work but it did. Lauren P. more

Treatment Did Not Work 9/30/2013

I paid $6000 cash for the Vulcan Basement treatment and it did not work. My basement is full of mold and mildew. I have contacted them and hope they will honor their lifetime guarantee. more

Reliable service and good prices! 9/19/2013

Vulcan Basement Waterproofing did a nice job for us. They waterproofed our basement and installed a new pump. It was very easy to communicate with them throughout the process. They arrived on time. It took them a day, which I was surprised by because I thought it was going to take much longer than it did! They were very professional and kept the work area clean. They also cleaned up after themselves. They were in and out. So far, the waterproofing is holding up great. We would recommend them for the good prices and reliable service that they offer. more

Professional, knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, quick service 9/17/2013

We had a great experience with Vulcan Basement Waterproofing. They answered all of our questions and provided us with all of the literature we needed to feel comfortable in making the decision to go with them. They were very thorough, professional, and cooperative. They said it would take two days in total, and it really did take them two days. They also had no problem moving around our stuff in the basement in order to complete the job. You could tell they knew what they were doing. So far, we have had no water problems, even though we've been having a lot of storms recently. What they did must be working. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely recommend these guys. more

Vulcan Basement Waterproofing went around the periphery of my entire house, made the holes, put in the drains, and connected it to the sump pump. It worked really well. You could hear the water going right into the sump pump. The way that they showed up and worked together as a team was impressive. They showed up on time, had the right equipment, and worked together really well. We have a big house. They had a few men outside getting the rocks and sand and then they cemented the floor back. Everything worked the way it should. The people doing the work were prepared, efficient, and very nice. Their service was very good. I would recommend Vulcan Basement Waterproofing. more

Great long-lasting fix to cellar flooding 7/30/2013

We have had no problems with the work done by Vulcan Basement Waterproofing. They were very professional and we have no problems with the cellar leaking anymore. It was a messy job digging up concrete, and they cleaned up well after the fact. There was flooding and back-flow in the cellar before they arrived but since Vulcan worked on it, everything has been great! more
