The BEST pizza in South Bay... 9/9/2010

Pizza is true NY style....sauce is sweet, crust is sensational and tasty, and the garlic knots are out of this world. Wings are great. Caesar salad is our favorite, but is not traditional. Not sure what how they do the dressing, but whatever it is...you cannot go wrong. Make sure to order a large pie, as the reheated leftovers are simply the best meal you can have. Order Vinny's....you will just love it. more

The best and they're good people 11/22/2009

I live with in delivery range of Vinny's so we call them a lot. The lasagna is the best ever and after eating it for dinner I have enough for tomorrows lunch. They have these delicious round garlic rolls, I call them garlic balls, the best! For California Pizza, well, it is not worth it to order from any one else, you are wasting money and calories to get pizza any where but Vinny's. Thank you Vinny's, keep up the good work. Pros: the food tastes great and there is so much Cons: can't think of a negative more

Response from Vinny's Pizza to Malandrop 4/24/2008

This guy hasn't been to Vinny's in 13 years and he's bad mouthing us. My brother and I have owned it for 7 years and we consistently keep the place clean and have A's from the health dept. at both of our restaurants. This guy doesn't even realize that different owners took over. Thank you guys for making Vinny's Pizza a success. Your'e patronage is welcomed and proof that we are making a product that people have enjoyed for 30 years. more

Don't recomend 4/8/2008

I am Brazilian, 37 y.o. and lived in L.A. about 13 years ago. At that time I worked at Vinny's Pizza, at Lincoln BLV for few months. Never in my life I saw so dirty place. Cleaning is superficial and that little kitchen is a mess. For example, in the little kitchen employers use the preparation garlic bread table as a step to reach other ingredients. Devices for crushing, sturb, blending, etc... are cleaned once a month! Restroom cleaning objects, and cheesse and eating goods are keeped in same ambient, the little kitchen. I don't know as the authorities didn't close that place already! When I worked there I could eat free which I ever refused bringuing my own food from home. Now I have my own Pizza Restaurant in BRAZIL-MALANDROPIZZA, were I live, so I don't have to lie about it. Note: most of positive comments to Vinny's Pizza was wrote by the owner using other username. If now he haves other branches Vinny's avoid them, for the benefit of your health. more

I can no longer order Dominoes or Pizza Hut 3/11/2008

I don't know what this Btvox guy is talking about, I've been going to this place for years and I've always gotten prompt service; the only time it takes a while is if there is a game on or if its raining or something, but that's why you call ahead and see how busy they are. Plus, if you ARE in a rush, there's pizza by the slice, which is still 10 times better than those chain places, but not as good as a freshly made pizza, but still damn good for two huge, one-topping slices and a soda for under $5 and under 5 minutes (if there's no line). The place is definately a little small, but it's a take-out spot, if you want to take a big group of people and have some beers....THEY'VE GOT ONE IN EL SEGUNDO NOW! And that place is dope with actual tables AND a bar! I hate to say it, but I think the food even tastes a little better down there; although, that may be the 32 oz. Karl Straus Amber Lager I tend to get with my pizza, haha. So, much love to Vinny's, you guys must put something in your food because I can't stop eating there....I need my weekly fix. Keep up the good work, and keep making those garlic knots; in fact, ever think about a garlic knot crusted pizza? I'm getting hungry just thinking about that, haha, I think I've got to make a phone call real quick.....""Yes, I'd like to place an order for pick-up...."" Pros: Awesome food, nice people, and great deals Cons: Can get a little busy more

Ordered for the first time last week and it was great. I will definitely order again. more

Bad customer service. Don't lie to your customers. 10/19/2007

I ordered carryout. They told me 20 minutes. After I got there they told me 7 more minutes. Five minutes later they began making my pizzas. After 50 minutes I finally got my food. Over-promised. Under-delivered. And, don't lie to me like I'm stupid. There are pizza places everywhere. Vinny's is one I will not visit again. Cons: Thumbs down. Be honest with customers and they may be more understanding. more

Addictive! :) 4/5/2007

Their pizza is amizing! It is totally addictive! My office orders from them at least once a week. Their pasta dishes are great, too . . . and don't pass up their garlic knots! :) more

Best pizza in the area 11/14/2006

I recently discovered this place and was immediately hooked for one reason -- PIZZA BY THE SLICE! That feature is very rare in LA, and that alone gives it that real NY feel. Besides that, the pizza is excellent; they really got the thin crust down, though sometimes I think they put too much cheese on it. Great lunch and take-out deals too. Pros: excellent pizza BY THE SLICE Cons: hard to eat there withmore than 2 people more

Fantastic lunch combos! 10/25/2006

I love going to this place. I always get the pizza, but I've tasted their sandwiches and salads and their good too. If you can eat there for lunch rather than getting your food to go, they got several awesome lunch specials that always satisfy. My favorite is the combo with a 1-topping slice, small salad and a drink for less than $5. Pros: Huge pieces of pizza by the slice! Cons: No online website with their info. more

Good cheap pizza, just don't bring a crowd 8/23/2006

Down the street from the Loyola Marymount University campus, this pizza joint is a favorite among students who dare to venture beyond Dominos. Pros: great and cheap pizza, FLEXI dollars (for LMU students) Cons: styrofoam cups, little seating room, the chicken is a little bland more
