Once the process started, Amanda and Brandon did an outstanding job of keeping me informed of what was going on and what the next steps would be. They were able to answer question...

They provided a wonderful pool design and made mention of many things that other pool companies like Gold Medal didn't even suggest. They also gave a great price that was much le...

Rip OFF ! 5/12/2010

Venture pools made many promises that have not been fulfilled and now have threatened to sue us.Slaesman Rudy Vrba when selling the poolto us , assured us our lawn would be "just like is was" when they arrived........now we have an ugly construction access full of cement fragment, mud and deep ruts.......no grass, from the front of our home to the pool site across our backyard, they say NOW they are not responsible for any repairs. The decking was to be ammended with some extra red stone to match all the flagstone and pool amenities, but it was not done. Not responsible again ! When the pool was sold to us we told Rudy , we did not want a "BLUE" pool......we wanted a natural look. so we selected a plaster color of Black, White, grey and a fleck of navy blue specs. They plastered witha vibrant BLUE , like wet and wild. Not responsible ! ....also promised a water outlet to wash the decking and water plants and flowers. an electric outlet and a auto ignite for gas feature..........not done ! Several other things did not get done as promised and now we have a 50,000.00 investment and nothing close to what we contracted for Pros: Great field guy.....Chris Cons: dishonest, unconcerned, no customer service more

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!! 5/11/2010

I just finished building my 2nd pool with Venture and what can I say everything was smooth sailing...again. I am a procrastinator so I made several changes during construction and they helped me every step of the way and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. If I ever get another pool they will be the 1st company I call! Pros: Communication, Knowledge, Respectful Cons: None Yet more

WORST PURCHASE OF MY LIFE!!! 12/11/2008

We went with Venture for the price but got MUCH LESS than we paid for. Not only was there extensive construction delays and poor construction quality; they tore up my entire yard and refused to sod it when they were done. We were left with a mud pit for a back yard, flagstone that is flaking off and black splotches (mottling) all over the plaster. Do yourself a favor and go with a company that will treat you like a customer and not an annoyance. Pros: Still trying to find one. Cons: Schedule, quality, warrantee, EVERYTHING!!! more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! 12/3/2008

I contracted with Venture Custom Pools to build a pool for me and agreed to pay over $34,000 for the pool. After a lengthy construction process that was delayed over two months, the pool was finally completed when it was too cold to swim. Shortly after the pools completion, large dark grey splotched began to form over approximately 70% of the pools white plaster finish. I called Venture and spoke with Todd (last name not known) four separate times over two and a half weeks before Venture finally sent a representative from the plaster subcontractor to assess the problem. He quickly diagnosed the problem as Mottling (a mineral anomaly in the actual plaster material that causes excess hydration in the plaster that causes it to be much darker than the rest of the cured plaster). The plaster subcontractor told me he does not warrantee mottling with Venture but that has nothing to do with my warrantee with Venture. I paid Venture for the pool and subsequent warrantee; not this guy. As he was leaving my home, the plaster subcontractor handed me a printed instruction sheet on how to ?Acid Wash? a pool. After expressing my dissatisfaction with Venture Pools, Todd tells me ?I spoke with the plaster company that came out to speak with you and was told he gave you a guide on what to do for your plaster.? Long story short; I had to spend $200 and hours of my personal time trying to correct a problem that is a direct result of faulty construction and the plaster is still not completely cleared up. Taking $34,000 and then ?telling? someone how to correct poor construction is not a warrantee by any definition. Pros: None. Cons: Too many to list. more
