I just recently learned about usedcardboard boxes. Prior, I thought my only options for moving boxes were to go "dumpster diving," beg for 1-2 free boxes at 20 different stores (and who has time for that) --or pay tons of money at a U-Haul store. I'm so happy someone tipped me off to this company. When I went to their website, it was very user-friendly and I ordered right away. I thought it was really helpful that I didn't have to guess how many boxes I needed...I could just order according to my space (i.e., 1 bedroom apt or 3 bedroom house). The additional supplies (tape, markers, etc) were also convenient)! My order came in about 2 days and was very compact for the number of boxes I received. Amazingly, I used each and every box. I decided I did not want to hunt around for abandoned boxes to move with this time. Then I started looking for boxes to buy and they were so expensive. These used boxes were very affordable, half the price or less, than other places I looked. The boxes came the day after I ordered them, and they were all in excellent condition. All of the boxes of one type i.e. medium boxes, were all identical. Which I thought was cool for used boxes. There wasn't much by way of stickers or writing on the boxes, much better than the ones you can find in the recycling dumpsters... I actually had a spot to write what room the box goes in. The kit i got came with some packing paper, tape, and markers which was very convenient. Even though the tape wasn't the highest quality, it mostly worked fine. I ordered from this company. It got here quickly, but that's all I can say in their favor. The boxes I received had holes, crushes and tears in them. The cost of the extra tape to fix and reinforce the broken boxes was more than the savings vs buying new boxes. As a kicker, customer service has not responded to me about the problem (it has been almost a week), even though the site claims satisfaction is guaranteed. Costco has a lovely moving kit by Scotch that I now wish I gone for instead of the used boxes. Pain in the butt. Pros: Earth Friendly! Cons: Crappy boxes! I've used this company for years. They rock! They have grown from little local shop in Los Angeles, to a national company. We're so proud of them!
