Nice price and location 4/11/2014

Nice apartment for the price and location. Lived across the street last year, NOT worth spending $1800 for a studio apartment! Front desk people are nice and helpful, especially all of the packages I get. I'm staying here again next year and can't wait for the new fitness center, the old treadmils were was always being used, so I had to go to the CCRB, which is only 2 blocks away, but it was so darn COLD this year. Bad Reviews....not sure which U. Towers they were talking about, but I like it here and have no complaints. more

Amazing location, amazing staff, and great price 3/4/2012

I honestly do not understand why anyone had such a horrible experience. I read a few of the reviews and some are just straight up lies. The elevators do not break everyday. There are three elevators. If one of them needs maintenance, a person can just take one of the other two. I have NEVER had to take the stairs because of a fire alarm. The staff is amazing. As soon as I mentioned that I did not like the couches they ordered BRAND NEW couches for me. As soon as I mentioned that the window frame was letting in a bit of air, they ordered a BRAND NEW window frame for me. The location is amazing! It is minutes away from everything. I can literally wake up ten minutes before class starts and still make it to class on time. The price is actually the same, if not cheaper, than many of the houses that are much further from central campus. I have had an amazing experience with U Towers. Pros: null Cons: null more

Lived there for 3 years :) 7/29/2008

I read some bad reviews and had to let you know that I lived there for three years problem FREE. Management, Maintenance and the rest of the staff were always friendly and very helpful. My apartment was on the 16th floor and I could see the Stadium and all of Central Campus, which was pretty cool. You can't beat the location, especially if your always waking up late like I did. You will pay more for living close to Campus, but I found it to be well worth the money. BONUS...the gave me FREE breakfast every Monday morning. Your the Best University Towers!!! more

Just Ok, very expensive, crappy and small 2/13/2006

This apartment is just Okay, I have lived in here as a summer subletter before and the place is very small. It's very close to campus but the price are very expensive. I hate that they make a petition inside the bedroom which makes it looks like a hospital room. They need to get that knock out of the room! Also the living room is with 'office carpet' it doesn't have any 'warm' feeling to this place. Though this place do provide nice secruity (people need a card to get in of the bldg) so it's nicer. more

good location 11/10/2005

The location of UNIVERSITY TOWER is awesome, right in the downtown Ann Arbor. The price is quite high. The kitchen is tiny, you can hardly turn around in the kitchen. It is hard to find a place to park around it. But you can find all the entertaining places around this building. I think it is worth the price. more

Small Apartments - High Prices 9/3/2005

While University Towers proclaims to be the best deal on campus because of their location, you can definitely find a better place to call home...for a better price. While the building may seem impressive, boasting over 20 floors of apartments, the accommodations are anything but grand. The apartments are on the small side, and it would be very difficult for one person to afford a one bedroom apartment...which more often than not are too small to share. The furniture is nostalgic of old dentist office furniture and is anything but comfortable. The pool is rarely open, the workout facility is antiquated and virtually unusable, and the rec room contains old arcade games that nobody would want to use. While it is a convenient location, within a minute or two of the diag, and they have maintenance in house, a front desk, a security guard at night and a t.v. room with a large screen t.v., you definitely need to weight your options before signing a lease. more
