im tired of them, you ask them to fix something and they dont, ive left plenty of voicemails for the owners to call me back and i have had no response, and same goes for the main manager...i canceled my membership and now going to cascade, which so far has been the best gym experience ive ever had, its worth the drive.. more

No place is perfect, but MHAC seems to always be striving to attain the closet thing to perfection as possible. MHAC is always making improvements and never just letting things go. They keep the club up to date with ""state of the art"" equipment keeping it clean without making it feel institutional. Love my club. more

Love Mt Hood Atheletic Cl!ub It is one of the nicest things about Sandy. Media, a personal trainer there, gave me the courage to add strength training and use the weight room. Adding strength training with Media's knowledge and encouragement changed my body composition. The variety of classes and options keeps it fun. Everyone there is approachable and willing to help, challenge, and encourage you. Mt Hood Athletic Club is a staple of my day! more

I've had nothing but great experiences at Mt Hood Athletic Club. I enjoy the weight and cardio equipment and the relaxed atmosphere. I especially enjoy working with Media, my trainer. Media has helped me learn to love exercises that I would not do on my own. As a family we really enjoy playing racquetball. I've also enjoyed the Zumba classes very much. Mt Hood Athletic Club is everything you would expect in a larger facility with the advantage of a much friendlier atmosphere. It is a great place to meet new friends and work on yourself. It offers so many options for self improvement while having fun. The weight room is low key and comfortable and has state of the art equipment. I love the pool. It is always very clean with a fresh feeling. All of the instructors that I have encountered are friendly and competent with a genuine interest in helping me to learn skills. I look so forward to my Yoga class every Tuesday. It has helped me in ways I never could have imagined. The locker room is always clean and in good condition. I have belonged to other clubs and Mt Hood is far and away the best experience I have had. more

STAY AWAY FROM THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT! These guys bait and switch you until you're so frustrated you just pay the bill out of frustration. I made an appointment, left my car. They never called, so I called them at 3:30. "Oh we're just looking at it." Call back at 5:00 because I hadn't heard anything...same line...but now they're keeping my car overnight. They charged me for a bunch of things that weren't communicated until the car was done. Total scam! more

I went back to Weseloh Kia at Laguna because the sale person, name CHANG. He is very professional. My wife got Sporte, used but it's good. No pressure from dealer or sales person. Thanks agains I love it! more

I was injured in a car accident and had been unable to work due to subsequent surgery and further complications. The initial settlement the car insurance company offered me was $2,895...Within a matter of DAYS, Greg Baumgartner won me $25,000!! When I asked Mr Baumgartner how he got that kind of money out of the car insurance company , he simply said, ""Well, they know me"". Greg Baumgartner is good people. more

I would have to "ditto" everything MomIam wrote before me. In addition, they make all parents sign a "Spanking Waiver" in the enrollment packet that allows the school to spank your children when they misbehave or that you spank your kids when the school asks. I refused to sign this form. I discoverd while picking up my kids during the snack time that the snacks consisted of the following: rice crispy treats, cookies, chocolate pudding, Fritos and...COKE FLOATS. Of course the menu they have posted for the parents listed much healthier options. When several parents addressed the lack of nutrition with the director, Penni Penigar, she could have cared less and actually told one parent "Well, I guess this isn't the right place for you." And the most disturbing part of my experience at Shoreline Christian is how un-Christian-like they handled issues when they were addressed. They need to change their name to Shoreline Institution and Storage Unit for Kids. more

NO WORK NEEDED BUT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ESTIMATED!!!! HE ALSO LOOKED OVER THE ESTIMATE AND TOLD ME THE PRICES WERE RIDICULOUS. I WILL BE REPORTING THIS CRAZY "doctor" TO THE DENTAL BOARD AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY! I LOOKED OVER THE REVIEWS I SEE AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE ONLY GOOD ONES ARE FAKE ONES, THEY CALL THE OFFICE DBD WHICH IS WHAT THE CAR TAGS ON THE CAR OUT FRONT SAY. more

I take my Land Rover to PDX Rovers, and I will always take my Rover there. You can't trust half the guys in town that claim to work on Rovers, unless you want to be ripped off or dissatisfied with the results. I've tried them all, and have receipts and stories to tell you about folks I won't mention here that downright bring shivers to the spine. Not the case with PDX. Francis, Terry, Andrew, Steve, these folks are down to earth people that genuinely care about keeping you loyal forever, and keeping your Rover running like it should! Hi, my name is Danielle, and I wanted to give a big THANK YOU to PDX ROVERS for everything theyve done for me. I first came to them with a 2002 Land Rover Freelander that the Dealership had said was a bad engine. Their second opinion confirmed what I suspected, that they were full of it at the overpriced dealership. They had even tried to convince me to trade my dead rover in for a new vehicle while I was there! pdx rovers found that while I did have a few problems in my motor, a manifold, and a few other items, it could be fixed for under $1500, and I had them go at it. It has been over a year now, and my Freelander still drives great! I’m actually getting a second rover now for the family, and I wouldn’t have dreamed it in a million years if I didn’t know I had a genuinely great repair shop in town to that could keep it running right. more

My family makes fun of me for how often our Land Rover is in repair, and I deserve it... I did buy it without inspecting it. That being said, I would have burned it for insurance money if it wernt for the awesome guys at PDX Rovers. Yes, these guys may seem your average down to earth friends from college, but they're also the best Land Rover resource you have on the west coast. I've lived in California, Washington, and Oregon, and know that every place I'v ever taken my Rover sucked... And I thought that's the way it is, arrogant vehicle creater arrogant service shop yeah? Nope. PDX Rovers is a family business that treats you right, fixes you right and thinks in the long run, and keeps you as a customer forever. I used to come in to PDX for repairs a lot true, hardy har har. It's a Land Rover, and it had quirks to work out., Today, I only come in for normal service and upgrades. Over a year ago I brought a used Range Rover and entered the strange and esoteric world of Land Rover. The mechanic I had been using and to whom I took my car to check out gave it a hearty thumbs up, and proceeded to tackle the numerous problems my car would take to, but could never solve them. In frustration I called the Land Rover dealership only to discover that they bill 160 an hour for their mechanics to look at my car, a hefty 50% increase over my usual hourly rate. I thus did a Google search and came upon PDX Rovers and made my call. Francis Watson answered the phone and listened to my woes. My car didn’t seem to be running right - my current mechanic couldn’t figure out its woes, Could he help me? He told me to bring in my car and he would, free of charge, take a look at it. And so I did. Francis told me, with the gentle fortitude of a medical doctor telling their patient they are sick, that my car had several issues he had to fix, immediately. He was very forthright, and explained the numerous and various ways he would proceed to fix my car, which included shopping around for good used parts, something almost no mechanic would bother doing. He called me with updates, and was always extremely caring and concerned, as though he shared my angst. He fixed my car, and has ever since taken great pains to be available to me at anytime. Not only does he change the oil for ½ the price of my other mechanic, he also tosses in things gratis (free); such as fixing a window that wouldn’t close. Once I was driving home through the Redwoods from San Francisco and an emergency light went on. Francis took the time to call me on a weekend and step by step help me fix the problem on the road. Not only is Francis Watson, and additionally his business, PDX Rovers, the best and most efficient auto shop around, there is a priceless quality to his service that transcends business relationships. Francis Watson is a friend. A friend to me, and I know, friend to everyone who comes into his shop. He will give anyone not just stellar service and help, but a precious human touch, something both rare and beautiful. more

Wonderful family owned shop with great service! I am a female college student who owns a 1998 range rover, so I don't know alot about car parts and my car needs routine maintenance. PDX rovers didn't make me feel intimidated to come into their shop, ask questions, and be honest with me about what my car absolutely needed and what it didn't necessarily need right away, no other car repair place has been able to do this for me. They did a routine inspection for free, an oil change for $25 AND even fixed an annoying beep that came on every time I turned my car on, for free!! I will definitely be going back, and if you are wondering where to take your land rover... THIS IS THE PLACE! more

I have been a customer of PDX Rovers for several years, and from the beginning I felt the love and professionalism in which their staff displays to all customers. My vehicle broke down last year and I wanted to have it towed to PDX Rover after I was told the repairs would be in the thousands of dollars. I did not have it towed and allowed another mechanic to do the repairs. This week, I dropped off my vehicle at PDX Rover for my 100K tune up and was notified that the repairs were not properly done the year previously. They completed the repairs and completed by tune up within 3 days. I have always been surprised and delighted when I come to PDX Rovers.
