Hey, if you get here EARLY it's great...but when the University is in session forget the rest of the day. Laptops working away. It might as well be a library. Little conversation...many times I've turned away because there is no place to sit...and it gets stuffy really fast. I just don't go in the afternoon or when school is in session. more

UZ (aka University Zoka) is the Ur-Coffee place! 3/23/2006

I really, really like the coffee at Zoka, but the tables are always all taken at the one in Tangletown. Imagine my delight when they opened a new one even closer to my house. UZ has the same terrific coffee, excellent baristas (they do foam art like you wouldn't believe), and fab sandwiches/bakery items. The wi-fi is free, and no one hassles you if you stay a long time. It's definitely one of my go-to places when I want to give a visitor a taste of Seattle culture. more
