You can't beat the view. Admittedly, the view of the Santa Monica Airport was weird, but it was just one more mismatched piece sewn into this clever hodgepodge of a restaurant. Unfortunately, they were out of fresh crickets at lunch, so we started with ants on fried potato strips. They tasted, well, anty, with a dash of vinegar. Not much flavor, really, but they meant easily earned bragging rights. My main course was the Szechuan Scallops plate - a hearty serving of fresh scallops cooked in a savory sauce. Tasty. Like previous reviewers have noted, the place got a little noisy - even though we were only there at lunch time. Still, the dining area was nicely laid out, and the service was attentive.
Pros: variety of dishes, exotic dishes
Cons: noisy
