I'm very impressed with how the dishes were prepared. I had a wonderful experience here. I came here with my parents for my birthday and it was a truly extraordinary night. Highly recommend this place! more

Treehouse Restaurant and Pub!!!! 11/21/2011

Some of my girlfriends and I went to the Treehouse Sunday night. We planned on staying there for an hour and then moving on to the next place. We ended up staying there until the bar closed we had so much fun. The owner is the nicest guy you will ever meet and we made friends and had drinks with some of the other customers. Great food great Tequila. It was the most fun on a Sunday I have had in a long time!!! more

The go-to place for great ambiance and appetizers 9/26/2011

Super cute neighborhood and restaurant. Worth the wait for outdoor seating, you can get a drink at the bar and hang out outside on the ramp. I enjoyed my flash-fried artichoke hearts and tasted my husband's lamb sliders with sweet potato tater tots. The Liberty Cab was a generous pour at $9 and a pleasing choice. Thus is the go-to place for appetizers which left room to share a dessert. We ordered the apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. The ice cream wasn't that cinnamony but the apple pie was crumbly, caramely, warm perfection. A great local haunt and fun date venue. Reasonably priced. more

Idiot Manager and Roaches !!!! 9/13/2010

I have been to Treehouse several times and decided that I will not be going back. I ordered the Fish n Chips last night and when it arrived the fish looked like it wasn't cooked all the way however there was dim lighting so it was hard to tell. It tasted sufficiently cooked but I just decided not to eat after a few bites due the texture as well. The Fries were soggy and bland as well as the fish. The company I was with also said the the fish tacos were not as good as they used to be. \r So.....When the server came to collect our plates she noticed we hadn't eaten mush at all and asked, ""was the food not to our liking?"" I mentioned that I thought it seemed a little undercooked and lost my appetite and that she could take the food away. I never asked for anything special but she felt it necessary to have the manager come over and talk to me about it. I simply let the manager also know again that I thought it was a little undercooked and lost my appetite and simply did not want the food anymore. She then proceeded to tell me, ""since you have eaten a good portion of it (which by the way was about three bites) that she could not accommodate me with a free meal or any other dish.""\r The funny thing was that I never asked to get anything free. I just wanted to finish my drink, pay and go. At that point I realized that she was an idiot for prefacing the conversation with the ""I cant offer you anything for free..."" talk. I found it extremely unprofessional that she had gone immediately into a scenario where she thought I was going to ask for fee things. I only then stopped her from her speech to let her know that 1. I didn't ask for anything free, 2 the roaches were terrible there ( i'll get to that in a moment) 3. that I didn't need the drink that she offered for free.\r Roaches. She began to get testy with me when I mentioned the roaches. She said, ""Well, its an out side restaurant, It's to be expected."" \r I don't agree. I must have seen at least 15-20 roaches. Most were running under our feet as we sat at our table. I had to stomp me feet on the ground to keep them from running up our legs. \r Furthermore the menus were tattered and peeling apart. Not like I had experienced in the past with fresh clean laminated menus. By the way this was my first impression upon arriving. I should have known that it was going to go downhill from there. I don't know what happened since my previous visits but who ever is running / managing needs to either be reprimanded or hire a manager who is interested in presenting an environment in which the food is prepared correctly, and that it tastes good, the presentation of the surroundings are adequate, (i.e. menu's, sticky & wobbly tables), and the roaches.....I understand it may be an outside restaurant and that roaches can be bad but there are exterminators that can help with that. The numbers were just downright too many to agree with this. It was a disgusting experience. more

Awesome Brunch Place 2/25/2010

Tucked away in a neighborhood-like area, Treehouse fits in perfectly with the laid-back residents of Peachtree Hills. Looking like a house with an extra large front deck, it is routinely filled with 20, 30 and 40-somethings guzzling spicy bloody Marys or Sweetwater brews while basking in the sunshine. The food isn't culinarily exceptional, though the creative salads, buffalo chicken sandwich, and large juicy burger definitely hit the spot with consistency. If the place is slammed, order a hummus app to tide the hunger pangs. The trick is to beat the crowd on the weekends, which could mean showing up earlier than 11 - though waiting around for a table with friends and an adult beverage isn't such a bad thing anyway. Pros: Great Bloody Marys Cons: Long standing waits if you don't beat the crowds more

BEST LUNCH 11/25/2009

Great Food, Service and Drinks. Pros: Healthy Fresh more

HORRIBLE SERVICE 4/9/2009

The wait staff was terrible and the food wasn't much better. To top it off...they automatically charged a 20% tip because we had a party of 6 but the waitress was no where to be seen after we got our food. No water refills. Just horrible horrible service. Pros: NOTHING Cons: WORST SERVICE FROM WAITRESS I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED more

great restaurant, appalling service 3/10/2009

I have been to Treehouse many, many times: with girlfriends, on dates, brunch, drinks, dinner, you name it... Great menu, I've never ordered anything I didn't like. However, my last visit may very well be my LAST visit. Our server, BETHANY, was completely rude pretty much throughout our entire meal. The food took longer than it should have, but what was really absurd was the fact that a friend had to ask three times for her dressing. Another friend was asked to ""chug"" her martini because the kitchen was out of martini glasses. Then when the bill came, Bethany refused to split it 6 ways, telling us that she was too busy. We asked to speak to the manager, and much to our dismay it was her. She gave us a condescending lecture on how their policy is no split checks, again stating how she was way too busy (there were open tables on the patio, and no one waiting to be seated) and then said ""I need you to split your checks and pay, and I need you to do it NOW."" It is no wonder to me that her name has been brought up so many times throughout these negative reviews. Pros: patio, drinks, brunch Cons: BETHANY more

Stuffed chicken rocks! 3/6/2009

Had a great time on the patio at the Tree House last week. Our server Meghan, I think, recommended the stuffed chicken which was phenominal. The patio was packed and she juggled 7 tables at once and managed to keep my beer glass full. No better place to bring your dog on a sunday afternoon. Pros: Deck, Waitress Cons: Big crowd more

Horrible Service 2/20/2009

I frequently visit this restaurant but recently had a very unpleasant experience. Our waitress who happened to be the manager was extremely rude. We waited FOREVER for our food and after it was served, we could not even get a waitstaff member to bring us condiments. This visit left a bad taste in my mouth and I do not plan on going back there for a while. more

Fun place with great food 2/8/2009

I love Treehouse. \r \r Everything on the menu is really good and the atmosphere is relaxed & fun. Real fries! The owner, Jim, is great; he and the restaurant & bar are 20+ years institutions of the Peachtree Hills neighborhood.\r \r Treehouse is a place to hang out, meet friends, have a few drinks, get a good meal, etc. They have a great covered deck out front, a cool little bar area, and plenty of seating downstairs where the patio was years ago. Pros: Food, TVs, crowd, draft beer, service, ambience more

Worst service ever! 1/13/2009

Worst restaurant experience ever. Never been treated so rudely by wait staff. The owner wasn't much better. Told owner the service was so deplorable that we didn?t even want to finish our meal. The owner said and I quote, ?let me get you get you a box so you can leave.? No apology, no attempt to reconcile the situation. We had to pay the bill and leave. Didn?t even have one bite of my sandwich. Waiter must have learned customer service from the owner; she was outright rude and unapologetic because she new there would be no consequence. In my 30 years of restaurant-going experience I have never left a restaurant with a meal uneaten and have never asked to speak to the owner because of poor service. I?m still in shock at the audacity of the wait staff and the owner. Cons: terrible customer service more

Dog Friendly, Great Deck 12/15/2008

The treehouse is one of Atlanta's tucked away, hidden secrets. The food is top-notch and so is the service. Great apps, plenty of seafood choices, fish tacos, etc. We walk there with our dogs, grab a table and spend the afternoon chilling out and catching up with friends. Pros: One of best decks in town more

Not worth your money 12/1/2008

This place is really a dump!!! ...........I know someone who used to work there and they have told me horrific stories about critters in the kitchen. more

Best brunch, patio, and service 9/30/2008

I recently visited the Treehouse with a group of friends. As a veteran visitor of Atlanta restaurants, I must say the Treehouse delivers!! We ate brunch, which was amazing, then stayed through the afternoon hours to enjoy the beautiful patio. The food at brunch was superb, especially the Eggs Sardou and the Huevo Rancheros, then the appetizers from the dinner menu (Artichoke dip, Hummus, and Crab dip) were simply amazing. The service was extraordinarily friendly, and the atmosphere reminded me of relaxing on my own porch at home. The staff, not just our server, was friendly and accomodating, none of that ""I'll tell your server."" As customers who lounged all day, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!! more

Great brunch! 8/19/2008

I've been here a few times for brunch and loved it every time. My puppy loves it as well because she can home and hang out while we eat. The mimosas are great and I personally recommend a peach mimosa with your brunch. The servers we have had were great and loved animals. This place is always packed on sundays and unless you get there early you could have a long wait. The line can easily build up. I usually have an omelette and it is always amazing. The potatoes are great too. The patio is the cutest. I love this place and will continuously come back here. Pros: Brunch, mimosas, patio more

Don't pay with your credit card 7/27/2008

Our waitress, BETHANY, was wretched. After our party of 12 had finished eating, she brought us one ticket with everybody's food and drinks on it and expected one person to pick up the tab. We asked her to divide the tab through her POS system and she told us no restaurant in Atlanta does that. We then asked her how she figured we would divide the tab ourselves and she remarked, ""What, you don't all have calculators in your pockets?"" At this point we start getting pretty frustrated. She then asks, with a horrible attitude,""Is this completely foreign to ya'll,"" in most lovely voice. As she walks past my wife, she flicks her hair as if we were in a 90210 episode. At the same time, the table of eight behind us starts asking us if our service is as horrible as theirs. They had some less than polite words to say as well. Since the waitress, who just so happened to be a ""manager"" of sorts, could have cared less about her service, we took matters into our hands by crossing out the convenient 17% gratuity charge. We all hung on to our receipts knowing there would be a problem in the fututre. Sure enough, I check my account 2 days later and my card as well as evryone elses was charged for that full 17% plus some. I called to speak to the manager. Neither he nor the owner cared about the situation. When I called the bank they told me I could dispute the charge by filing an affidavit. I spoke to the owner and he said I should just go ahead and file it. No attempts to make things right were ever made and I spent more time and effort going to the bank to get my $8.00 back than should have ever been necessary. The funny thing is that we all work in the service industry, I myself manage a restaurant, and we always take care of our servers because we understand how things are in the industry. As long as the Treehouse keeps treating customers like dirt, they should eventually wear their potential client pool down and get bought out by a Ruby Tuesdays....Good luck guys! more

Dont GO!!!!! 7/6/2008

My boyfriend and I went because you can bring your dog...We love our puppy, but this place is not good. I ordered the fish tacos which were not good! they were frozen tilapia that was fried up with a little coleslaw in a tortilla, If you are looking for a good fish taco go to Taqueria del sol. They have the best! He ordered the Mahi Mahi which was mushy and disgusting. Overall it was pretty pricey for the poor quality food they servred. I would not reccomend going to anyone who enjoys good food! I would not even go back if it were cheap....GROSS more

Everything's great..... Except, of course, for the people who work there. 6/5/2008

I've been to the Treehouse a few times for brunch and once for a dinner date. The scenery is real nice and the food is good, but the people working there are just miserable. I kept thinking that it would be better the next time I went, but it wasn't. Luckily, when I was there on the date the waitress acted somewhat pleasant, but definitely could have been much nicer. It's as if the people working there feel like they are doing you a favor by serving you. Perhaps if I go when it's not at all busy and sit on the deck it will be enjoyable. NEVER sit downstairs for brunch!!! It's hot as hell and you will wait an hour for some eggs benedict and a memosa. more

Horrible Owner with Bad Business Ethics 3/24/2008

The treehouse is nice, but that is only because the waitresses bust their butts to make it so. The owner doesn't know how to treat people properly or fairly. He doesn't pay his employees and always fines some way to skirt around laws to his own favor. All it comes down to is that he is a selfish, unhappy individual who has owned a restaurant for over 20 years, but still does not know how a restaurant operates! And I hope what goes around, comes around! Pros: Service and Patio Cons: Horrible Owner more
