This store is literally the only place I tend to shop at for groceries anymore. Some people balk when I tell them this, mainly thinking it is expensive, but what they don't realize, is that as long at you are buying real food (not frozen stuff) you can easily spend under your budget.
Most dairy, fruits, veg, breads, sauces, oils, baking supplies, spices, and even snacks are cheaper than everywhere else. The only items that are more (or equal) are their meats, but you are paying for quality. I have never had a bad tasting batch of beef, or tough chicken, or smelly fish. Drop the extra buck and you will have some of the best tasting meals ever, unless you get your meat fresh from a butcher. Plus the staff is super helpful and friendly, even when it gets busy (it is packed most of the time) You know you want to become a Trader Joe's fanboy.
