I'm writing to let you know how impressed I am with your Service Team. In particular, I'd like to commend and praise Mike for his excellent customer service. I bought my car from Bedford back in 2003 and have taken it to your location every few months or so for the 5,000 mile check up and other work. Mike has assisted me with a few of these visits, but one in particular still stands out in my mind a few months after it happened because Mike handled the situation so well. Sometime in Spring 2010, I took my car in for routine work, and Mike informed me of extensive damages and defects that needed to be fixed. It was a Thursday, I remember. The price tag was high, and my car needed to be left overnight for a few days to complete all teh necessary work. I was very discouraged by the high cost and wasn't sure what I'd do without my car for a weekend, but Mike assured me that he'd get everything done in a speedy manner and try to keep the costs down for me. Mike had also initially suggested that I look at other cars to replace the one I had, which was hard to hear as well. Due to ammount I was sure I'd have to spend a lot of money. Mike told me that he'd get me a rental car - free of charge - and would be in touch with an update. Around 4:30 pm the next day, Mike told me that my car could be picked up that night. I rushed over after work: my car was given a clean bill of health. Everything has been fixed so fast! Given my frustration with the situation to begin with, I was honestly very impressed by Mike's communication throughout this ordeal. He went through the breakdown with me and told me he'd tried to keep the costs low. He'd also expedited my car's repairs since it was close to a weekend. When I drove away that day, I felt a lot better about the situation. I'll be the first to tell you that I'm not the most mechanically-inclined individual when it comes to cars, which has made me skeptical of even getting my car serviced in the past because I sometime feel that I'm being ripped off. In Bedford, I've always felt that I'm being given a fair and honest break down of charges. The prices are fair and competitive, and the people who help me are never condescending or belittling. This is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Bedford. I have worked extensively in customer service, so I am attuned to professionals who are especially good at this essential skill. In my opinion, I believe that one of Toyota of Bedford's greatest achievements in retaining customers is your exemplary customer service. Every employee I've encountered there has been above the bar. I live in Cleveland Heights; there are other locations closer to me at which I could have my Toyota serviced, but I make the trip to Bedford because I know that I will be treated well. Thank you for all you do. You've made a lifelong customer out of me, and I appreciate all your hard work.
