This restaurant is hiding behind business complexes near the Factoria Mall. The Saturday morning dim sum starts at 10AM. During the weekend AND weekday a line will most likely be building up by noon. Arrive early because the teeny-tiny parking lot gets full fast. Nearby businesses have ?No Restaurant Parking? warning signs everywhere, but there is plenty of parking around the block or across the street. The winning characteristic about Top Gun is the dim sum selection. There are the traditional nomegai, shumai, shrimp noodles, beef noodles, shrimp ball, chicken feet, tripe, etc?. However, Top Gun has a few more items on the carts that include honey-walnut-prawns, fried calamari, fried noodles, congee, and a bunch of other things that I haven?t seen in other restaurants dim sum. The quality and quantity of the dim sum entrees are good (for Seattle). The environment is great for large groups that expect the typical Chinese restaurant feel: very busy service (and sometimes inattentive) and the typical Chinese restaurant comfort and cleanliness. The dim sum is best when fresh, so arrive early to beat the crowds.
Pros: Dim Sum Selection
Cons: Horrible Parking
