Big Breakfasts, Great Bar 1/7/2008

The Tippy Canoe is open again under new ownership. They have completely renovated the interior (non-smoking too!!) and I am looking forward to this summer as the outdoor seating and firepits along the river look like they will be the perfect spot to go after fishing or floating the river! Over-charged and under-served! 9/6/2006

My friend and I went the first evening this place re-opened after a long closure. As locals we were really looking forward to it. However, one look at the menu prices and we decided to return for lunch the next day. I'm not willing to pay ""elegant dining"" prices when being seated in a crowded bar on a stool next to a giant screen TV. The hot wings are to die for, and the company is great and to top it all off they have some pretty good live music. more
