This is not a luxury hotel. The registration and lobby areas look like those in a luxury hotel but that is where the good looks stop. Once you get above the first floor this is not any better than a 2 star hotel. The wallpaper, carpet, drapes, bedspread etc. are outdated and downright ugly. If you pay full price for this hotel you will be disappointed. The parking garage does not have an elevator; so, you have to pay for valet parking or carry your luggage up and down the stairs yourself. If you use a debit card to pay they charge you and extra $50 per night for ""incidentals"" and then ""refund"" it to you later. On the plus side: The rooms are clean. Some of the rooms have very good views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent if you are travelling from a city and are used to walking around. The downtown shopping area is within 2 blocks and the hipper Belltown area is within 4 blocks. The concierge is helpful and knowledgable. There is both a market and a movie theatre across the street. I really wouldn't have any complaints about the hotel if it were marketed for what it really is, a nice 2.5 star hotel. I would stay there again if I got a room discount because the location is so excellent.
