Best

This is a great place to meet people and have a good laugh. The bartenders are great people and if it is slow, they will come chat it up with you. I have only had one bad experien...

Worst

OK before I start ripping into this place... the bathrooms were REALLY clean last time I was there, which is amazing for a Saturday night just about anywhere. So that's a big plus...

Bad service, snobby staff, un-posted parts of dress code enforced 8/13/2007

I've been to this bar/billard club about 10 times; each with a work function (someones birthday, someone leaving the job, or just starting the job etc). Saturday night about 20-30 people were gathered there for a 21st birthday. I was refused entrance at the door for dress code violation. My shirt had offensive writing on it (this was not on the posted dress code). While I understand it is the bars right to deny entrance, I suggested that I would go to the bathroom and turn my shirt inside out--nope, not good enough. Then the birthday boys' girlfriend gave me her button up cardigan to put on--still no--they didn't want to have to police me all night (interesting, since i was the DD). Save your money and go somewhere else, theres plenty of places in Bellevue that are good--Joey's, Rock Bottom, Tap House, Daniel's has a fantastic bar. more

Check out the Ultralounge! 6/19/2007

The Parlor is stepping things up! I just went back there for the first time in a few weeks and I just about fell over. They have this new high-end lounge area in the back that looks like something straight out of Vegas! This is just what the East side needed! I heard that they have a DJ on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. My group got amazing service and I can't wait to go back and check out the lounge when it's hoppin. If your group is looking for a cool place to hang out this weekend, check it out. I know I'm gonna be there. more

Wannabe trendy and failing 6/14/2007

If you want to play pool, you can find someplace better. If you want to eat, do it before you go, if you want a decent drink, make it yourself! Their drinks are unimpressive. Served my friend a tap beer in a hot glass and it bust when we walked away and sprayed all over us. Not even a real apology from the disinterested bartender. The waitresses stare at you blankly when you order and rarely stop to check if everything is OK. NOTE: the view isnt great, the prices are outrageous and the staff would rather be at the dentist then helping the patrons. Pros: Tries to be trendy Cons: It fails. more

Fun place to hang out 3/27/2007

Its a big fun place to hang out. You can pick the music you like on the jukebox. You have to pay of course,... more

Best Service On The Eastside 12/21/2006

The Parlor is the best place to go, not only on the eastside, but Seattle too. The place is big, clean, has hot servers and it's not hard to get a drink since they have two full bars! The food is great and the selection of liquors is second too none. If you can't be happy going to a first class place like the Parlor, you'd better crawl back under your rock. more

Bellevue's place to be 12/21/2006

The Parlor is the place to be for happy hour. You can spead $6 and get a beer and an appetizer. I don't know of any other place in bellevue that can compete with that. Wide range of age groups. I didn't feel out of place because of my age. Pros: Great happy hour prices Cons: bar sometimes geta a little crowded more

So much fun, plus great food and drinks! 12/11/2006

I was here this Friday for happy hour (great prices for food and drinks). Then I came back on Friday for a girl's night out. We had a blast. Service was great! There were tons of hot single guys. I will be going back soon! Pros: Loved this place more

Another reason not to go out in Bellevue 11/12/2006

My friends and I stopped by the Parlor because we had an hour before a movie (why else would anybody go there). The place did not look crowded at all, yet the bouncer at the door immediately blocked the doorway and shouted at us to get in line. Umm... there is no line big guy. So this meathead doorman held us at the front door for 5 minutes, just because he could. What the hell? Finally after getting inside we realized why we stay in Seattle to go out to bars. The Parlor is yet another great example of East Side wannabe yuppie hangout. Fights seem to breakout constantly among the local meatheads as well as the gold diggers with the bleached hair and fat asses. The entire bar and billiard area is crawling with bouncers who like to pretend they are secret service with their ear pieces. If you really need that kind of security at your bar, I don't want to be there. I agree with other reviews that the employees and management will treat you like garbage if you are not dressed up. Typical Bellevue idiot markup. A glass of tap beer will cost you $8 - heaven forbid you purchase a mixed drink. Hey Parlor - you are located on the top floor of an empty mall that people only go to when they want to see a movie. You're not a trendy nightclub at the top of a hotel in Vegas. Get over yourself. In short, if you want to go to a bar/pool hall just go to downtown Seattle (belltown billiards, the garage, etc). Bellevue is lame and the Parlor is just another reason why. Convince at least one other person not to go to the Parlor and make the world a better place. If we all work together, it will go out of business in a year. I'd rather have one of those year-round Christmas stores occupying that space. Pros: It will go out of business soon Cons: Overpriced; Fights; Bad employees more

Food, billiards, music. :) 10/29/2006

Best Happy Hour 9/27/2006

I just stumbled on the Parlor's happy hour. It is fantastic! I have been in a few times since and it is drawing in quite the crowd. I recommened stopping by and checking it out. Pros: Great Happy hour Cons: No hats more

best pool hall 9/23/2006

The Parlor is a welcome addition to the new Eastside nightlife. Finally a classy place to go with friends for a drink and shoot some pool. The warm environment is complimented well by the two bars both equipped with a cool 'frost strip' to set your drink on to keep it chilled. The food is good, and the tables are clean. Not your average pool hall by any stretch. The hostess will set you up with a table and even r4ck it for you. I have been many times for lunch, and for drinks after dinner. It can get crowded on weekend nights, but if it wasn't, it wouldn't be as fun. more

great meeting-- relax place 9/19/2006

Whats with all the downers??? This isn't your average "expectorate on the floor" pool joint! This is a place you can bring your lady friends, relax, enjoy the nite out! food is above average, prices are typical east side prices, and the best place to hold an impromptu meeting! Ladies!!!~~~good place to meet some guys too. more

Terrible service and overpriced! 9/18/2006

NOT the place for a girl's night out. Pool is way overpriced to go and just have fun. Drinks are too expensive so don't expect any guys sending your table anything! The service girls are not interested in helping you have a good time. Would not go back. Not a social scene at all, no dancing and what is up with checking a ladies hat???? Cons: They are wasting a great location! more

Great corporate spot! 9/18/2006

We had a coprorate party here. So much fun! The service was quick, the servers were cute and the food was great! Better you expect from just a "pool hall", more like martinis & crostinis than wings & beer. I would recommend this place to the afterwork crowd too! Happy hour menu looked great! Pros: free parking, great food, great event space Cons: no hats alowed more

Who has $15 the an hour of pool 8/19/2006

What's with the lines to get in when it is clearly not busy inside. Pool over priced on so is the food and drinks. Not my style. Cons: over priced more

Trendy doesn't equal good 8/9/2006

The Decor is nice, but the overall atmosphere isn't. The place is trying way to hard to be trendy, at the expense of being good. The drinks are way overpriced, staring around $8.50 and going up, way up. The pool tables are nice, but again badly overpriced ($16 per hour for a professional, $20 per hour for a full size). For the size of the establishment it seems badly under staffed, drinks took well over 20 minutes from order to delivery, based on that we didn't even attempt food. The staff (when it was around) was friendly had helpful, however I would recommend that they be allowed to choose their own clothes the uniforms are about as tacky as any I've seen. Pros: Lots of pool tables, nice decor Cons: Overpriced, understaffed, bad lighting more

Overpriced! 8/4/2006

Can I get a kiss first? The drinks are weak and watered down and not worth it for what they charge for them. There's no place to smoke, you have to go out of the bar, three flights down and out to the sidewalk. The staff does their best to not make eye contact and will disappear for an hour at a time. Stick to the fifty cent table at your local bar if you want to play pool! Pros: Nice decor and tables, posh Cons: expensive, weak drinks, no place to smoke more

Check your hats? 7/27/2006

You walk in thinking that the people at the door are going to ask to take your coat, but instead you get a rude lashing to check your hat.......this is a pool hall, people!!!! Parlor has over priced drinks and over priced tables! I recommend walking down to Trader Vic's, Joeys, or over the Tap house for a fun night! Pros: Alot of space, ice bar, 2 bars in one place Cons: Hat rule, trying to be too posh, prices more
