Help When I Didn't Know What To Do 12/21/2016

About a month and a half after the birth of my daughter that was born out of wedlock... I was served an order of protection. I was lost and had no idea how to A) do what's best for my child and B) protect my rights as father. So I contacted the offices of Jeffery M Leving. In short, attorney's Arthur Kallow & Andrew Muchoney listened to my case, guided me through the process and have been emapathetic, honest and full of integrity. Throughout this extremely emotional process, Mr. Kallow and Mr. Muchoney, have shown an amazing understanding of family law and have fought for for my rights and my child's best interest all while allowing me to regain my focus on being a dad to my daughter. There is no better feeling for a dad than holding & hugging your daughter for the first time after the scare I went through. My Experience as a client 12/1/2016

I have been going to court for over 3 years now on post judgment Parenting issues due to the constant and deliberate delays from my exwife. Arthur Kallow's and Andrew Machoney's dedication and vast experience in family law has been invaluable to resolving and finalizing my case. We recently got a good Allocation Judgement favoring me and greatly expanding my Father's rights this September. We are working on the last two issues of my litigation now with another favorable outcome in sight. Also, Rosa Garcia from the billing department has also been a huge help in negotiating a payment plan with the management of the firm on my behalf while the litigation has been going on. The The Law Offices of Jeffery Leving have also recommended me to a great Psychologist, Dr. Alan Childs, for counseling sessions to help me bare the obvious stress that family law cases can have on while they are on going. Which shows me that they do care greatly about their clients. more

Peace of Mind 9/30/2016

Arthur Kallow's expertise and knowledge were crucial in getting me out of what I thought was a hopeless and extremely stressful situation. He developed a strategy and the case was over very quickly. I now have my life back and my son is now back in my home. more

I was extremely pleased with the way the Law Offices of Jeffery M. Leving handled my case. Maureen Gorman was my attorney. She was great in Court, plus she really cared about me and my children. Any time I had a question, she got back to me right away. I had a difficult case and I never would have gotten the results I got with out the Jeffery Leving firm. I highly recommend them. I have known Art Kallow for several years, and during that time I have sought his advice on a number of matters, some of them legal and some having only a tangential connection to the law. In every instance of my having called upon Art, he has immediately investigated the matter about which I had called him, and has given me excellent advice on how to handle my problem. This Leving Jeffery Associates is a SCAM 3/15/2015

Recently, I hired an attorney from Leving bogus associates and come to find out, after I pay the full amount in 2 parts, this bogus law firm sends me a statement that I owe another 5 thousand dollars. Nevertheless, I ask the person who kept calling me about how I would pay the additional charges when before I signed the contract this attorney said, there wouldn't be additional charges, Guess I was scam big time. In fact, the individual that calls people when you received additional charges is rude, impolite, and unprofessional when it comes to explaining simple facts, instead trying to make it seem that this person is a business person? What a joke. Therefore, neither the attorney nor the leving associates couldn't finish my case. In this case, their purpose is to steal and drained your account until your left and dry. more

Stay Away From Leving 2/2/2015

Leving is nothing but a name. His firm only cares about profits. They take advantage of clients that are in an emotional and vulnerable state. They lie about their result, while doing no work on your case. Then his firm will drop you when your money runs out. You can find several family law attorneys that are 10x better at a way lesser price. If you want your case resolved favorably, then stay away from Leving and his vultures. more

Former client 9/15/2014

This firm is a scam. They will charge excessive amounts of money with no results. Once you are drained of money they will drop you. They have with held invoices from me. I had to file a complaint with the BBB and yet they refuse to send me current invoices. They will also double charge. This is not an ethical firm and they will not fight for clients rights only their wallets. more

bankruptcy 9/15/2014

I hired Jeffery m leving. Wasted time and money. My attorney didn't want to go in front of the judge with my case. He only wanted to waste time to send me an outstanding bill. I only needed him to take the facts in front of the judge. This case still continues. My attorney said my case would have been over last year. He won't return my calls. The billing department continues to call and ask for a payment without mailing me a bill. I finally received a bill over 16, 000 dollars after I already paid 7,000 dollars. And only was able to see my child after I continue to ask the mother. My lawyer seem surprised. He literally has done nothing but waste time and money. more

Avoid His Help 10/17/2012

Jeffrey M. Leving is not a firm to use if you have any sense of dignity or self respect. The firm uses strategy meetings that are closed to the client and run $1,200 per month. After my daughter was sexually assaulted by a step dad and groomed by his own pornographic pictures, Leving took on the step dad, who works for Chicago's Children Hospital and put in an agreement that use of the photos are now contempt of court issues. Jeffrey's bottom line is money. After seeing his attempts to double bill, attend court dates that we're not scheduled, and pandering in Springfield to keep the gender bias against fathers, I would not recommend that anyone ever retain his firm or trust anything that he says. All his political connections are waisted on his love of money. Best of luck in finding a honest lawyer in Chicago...never look at Jeffrey M. Leving law firm! more

He did a great job for me 4/9/2012

I hired Bill Dowling to handle what ended up being a fierce divorce. My ex wanted sole custody of my daughter AND my dog! Mr. Dowling went into court with a ferocity did not expect and won me joint custody of my daughter and full custody of my dog. He is a fighter through and through and there when it matters most. more
