This place has really good food! Lots of different items on the menu. I love their pasta's. Always taste good. My only problem was deciding what to eat. The staff is really nice and friendly. more

I can't eat cheesecake no matter how much I like it. Bah lactose intolerance! I just like to eat here for the burgers, avocado rolls, and mint green tea. Parking at this location can be a pain, but lots of things in walking distance once you find a spot and pay. more

I love the location. It's in the center of Colorado Blvd's shopping and dining neighborhood. However, I dislike the amount of people hoarding the restaurant for a table. It's pretty ridiculous how many people want to eat here. I mean its good, but its not THAT good. I would imagine the wait is over an hour for most people. Luckily for me, I tend to eat there when there's less foot traffic. Food excellent but the wait is not! Not much of a family atmosphere. Took the family for the first time and hated every plate we got. The portions are huge but the good is bad. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and received a sliced pork sandwich smothered with BBQ sauce. I am not going back again. Pros: Desserts are great. Cons: Food is not that good. more

I've been to Cheesecake Factory in many different locations and the Pasadena location is by far the worst. I am NOT a picky eater at all, but the food at this location is just horrible. Everything I've tried at this location (almost all of the pastas and 50% of other menu) were TASTELESS and DRY. I always had to ask for extra extra extra sauce to somehow create any kind of taste. I still go sometimes because I live really close to it, but ONLY for the cheesecake! There are PLENTY of other good restaurants in the area, so go there! Pros: cheesecake. ambience. I really enjoy dining here. I love the fact that they have such a different variety of food on their menu. You can order anything from an appetizer like buffalo wings to soup, salad or pasta. Their cheesecake is also incredible. My favorite item here is the Santa Fe salad. The one draw back about it is the fact that there is usually a long wait to be seated. My husband and i have been frequent patrons of this Cheesecake Factory over the last few years, and I have to say it's gone seriously downhill. The wait wasn't bad, but then again we showed up at 10:30 on a Saturday night. When we got seated our waitress was very sweet and accomodating, and we requested mojitos as our drinks. Come to find out that they had run out of mint....strike one. We ordered our food, steak diane for my husband and chicken madeira for me, and when it came it was less than what we had come to expect from this restaurant. My husband's steak was undercooked, and my chicken was severely lacking in flavor....strike two. We ate it anyways as we had somewhere to be and had no time to send it back and wait another 30 minutes for more food. So before we left we used the restrooms....and yeah you guessed it!...strike three! As I was doing my business in the women's, I look down and there's a big r o a c h (did you know citysearch doesn't allow you to use that word in your review? haha) crawling towards my foot! Talk about freaking out....I screamed and smushed it, and then realized how close we were to the kitchen. EW. Being completely grossed out I told the waitress whose reply was ""oh yeah we're a big restaurant so that happens, we do use bombs though."" WTF?!?!?! My husband told her that the men's restroom smelled like Raid and she found that pretty funny....we didn't however. Apparently according to her the manager was on break and not available right then, and hasn't been available every time I've called back...he must also be SO busy that he can't return calls. Go figure. We won't be back here...that was just too much for me and I get nauseaus when I think about it. I could have forgiven the crappy drinks and food once, but b u g s (you can't use this one either?) crawling towards me? No way. I have to agree with what the other reviewers are saying. Great design, Great staff and atmosphere. As you walk in to this place, you can't help to notice the detail and effort in building this place. Staff is great, however do NOT go during peak hours. Service great off peak hours, absolutely horrible during peak hours. You may end up waiting a lifetime for your food but you get good portions. The chocolate chip cookie dough cheese cake is awesome!!! Pros: Great service, great food, and big portions Cons: long wait times more

Great design, Great staff and atmosphere. As you walk in to this place, you can't help to notice the detail and effort in building this place. Staff is great, however do NOT go during peak hours. Service great off peak hours, absolutely horrible during peak hours. I didn't get my food comped after waiting two hours of waiting. Server ignored it and didn't even notify manager. I've been to 5 different Cheesecake Factory's in SoCal, by far, this is the worst! The wait is horrendous. If you go on a Weekend night, forget it, 1-2 hour wait. Service is consistently awful, hostesses have been rude. The food is average, but way below the quality of other Cheesecake Factory's. Parking is only in structures or valet, which is also slow. If you must have Cheesecake Factory, take a drive and go somewhere else. The original one in BevHills is usually good. OK. This must be the place for the ""masses."" The food is GROSS. The clientele is GROSS. The interior is BEYOND GROSS. Like a Vegas restaurant. I don't get it. If you want a huge portion of BAD BAD BAD food, then waddle on in to the Cheesecake Factory. I mean, even the Cheesecake is DISGUSTING. SO SWEET AND INAUTHENTIC. The Cheesecake Factory, is, hands-down, one of the best places to dine. I happen to enjoy the Pasadena location, because it is close to my gym, and it is among Old Town's shops. You've probably enjoyed your experience there as well. The menu is extensive, the decor, tasteful, and the prices, competitive. The only negative thing I'd have to say is that waiting can be a problem, on busy times, like weekends, and dinnertime on popular weeknights. All in all, 5 stars! I have to admit, I hate that I love this place. The place is too crowded, the seating is terrible, and the wait times are tremendous. That said, it's reliable fare. I find the entrees and salads to be overpriced so I opt for appteizers; appetizers there are fantastic. Thai Lettuce Wraps, Grilled Artichoke. Yum. I absolutely love this Cheesecake Factory. The servers are always personable and friendly. As everyone knows, the menu is practically a book. I find it hard to decide what to eat for everything sounds so scrumptious. Every dish I have had there has been up to my expectations. The desserts are to die for! The only con I have is that they do not accept reservations, so the wait can be up to an hour during busy hours. It doesn't help that the front entrance is cramped and the restaurant is situation on a busy corner in Old Town Pasadena. Pros: Variety of choices, Desserts, Service Cons: Long wait more
