great burger! 1/14/2012

you have to try this place, seriously, its cheap, delicious and the burgers are cooked perfectly. the fries are delicious too and actually homemade, which i have had a hard time finding. i had no problem with the service, but then again i'm not a needy eater. so, i give it 5 stars and lots of love for the fact that there was NO MSG and was an overall great place to eat, and i cannot wait to go back. more

Not bad, I'll give it another try. 1/27/2011

good little burger joint, but I'll need to give them a second opinion before I bash anything about them. more

I've read the reviews for this place and have come to this conclusion. ""Those who think that The Burger Kitchen has a good burger, obviously drink their own bath water. Oh, and maybe the owner and staff should stop writing their own ""customer"" reviews. more

PUshy owner and terrible burgers. 10/10/2010

WARNING! The owner of this establishment is pushy and the businesses in the area are not to fond of him. The burgers are small and way over priced. The location is way too loud due to the concrete walls and the service is terrible. more

Quality burger 7/16/2010

This place has been getting some intense press in the LA food world recently so I had to see what everyone was talking about. I got there on a busy day when they were shorthanded, so service was a tad slower than it should have been but I didn't make a fuss. Alan, the owner, was very nice during my visit. I got the Summersetshire burger with the Pat LaFrieda patty and it was very good. The lunch special was only $12 so that made it even better. Next time, I *might* try the $29 Natural. Or an Australian meat pie! What really stood out was the ketchup I got with my fries. It was spicy chipotle ketchup that had a really hardcore kick to it that I loved. I asked them to bring another dish because it was that good. I highly recommend it if you like spicy food. Overall, this is a good place and I'll definitely be back. Pros: burger, chipotle ketchup Cons: slowish service more

Best Burgers in LA! 6/4/2010

I went to Burger Kitchen this week with some co-workers and it was so Yum! I think they have over 26 different kinds of burgers to choose from and a great selection on wines. The burgers were so juicy and fresh and I am embarrassed to say I finished the entire thing. This is now on my list of the best burger place in LA. Pros: large menu, great beer's, super nice staff more

Great Food and Variety 6/3/2010

I went to Burger Kitchen a few days ago for the first time for lunch, and the food was great! The menu has alot of variety to choose from, not only from burgers but drinks as well. The service was good and pricing was reasonable. I ordered the Burger Delicious and it was very good. I will go again to try the other burgers that sounded just as good. Pros: the menu more

Great hamburgers!!!! 6/3/2010

I loooove hamburgers and Burger Kitchen has the juiciest burgers. I especially like all the different and unique toppings you can get on your burgers. Another great thing they do is having different beer/wine tastings that match up with different items on the menu. If I had it might way, I would come here everyday! Pros: So many different options more

One of the Worst 5/25/2010

I went to dinner with my family not knowing exactly what to expect. I really hoped for more than what we got. 3 of us ordered the ""Eiffel Tower Burger"". What came was a seriously overdone piece of utterly tasteless meat, on a soft brioche bun, with the smallest bit of lettuce, a smear of bleu cheese and a dollop of an orange mustard substance. If you're a fan of crispy ground beef, (at least I think it was beef, who could tell), this is for you. $12.00. It wasn't even worth 12 pesos. The next night we all ate from Hamburger Mary's. What a huge difference. The rest of the meals were non-descript, which was an improvement over mine. The service was fair at best, and one of the owners, Alan, spent the entire meal trying to convince us that this swill was actually decent. No, sorry, bring back Surya. At least that was a good place to have a meal. Although thinking about it, something will be taking over this space in the not to distant future. ""Hey, Burger Kitchen"", you are definitely on the NFL plan. NFL, Not For Long. Pros: Coffee Cons: Everything Else more

Amazing burgers and fries!!!! 4/6/2010

If you are looking for a great burger place in Los Angeles, look no further than The Burger Kitchen. They are located right on West 3rd Street in Los Angeles near Toast and Joans. It was by chance that my fiancee and I stumbled upon this gem. We went in for dinner on Saturday night(which happened to be their opening night) and from the owner to the wait staff everyone was so accomodating and quick. I ordered a Godfather burger and my fiancee the Mountain Burger! Both of them were delciously spiced and flavorful! We also each ordered fries, which they cook two times over and are yummy and crispy. We wish we could have tried one of the desserts(a cookie ice cream sandwich) but were too stuffed from our fabulous burgers and fries. The ambiance inside the space is very relaxing and they also have a nice bar with different beers on tap and wine. I think if you are looking for a top notch burger in LA this is the place to try!!! Pros: fair prices, authentic burgers, friendly owner more
