I was surprised to know that at Teji's Goat Curry cooked twice or trice a week not everyday. I do not think I will ever go again. more

I have been to Teji's before and at lunch time it is usually crowded. The service is normally slow. Pros: Good Quantity of food Cons: Almost non existent service, too cramped and too slow more

We have been to all the indian restaurants in Austin and by far this is the only one which makes us go for lunch every Sunday. All the lamb dishes are to die for. They have excellent biriyanis as well. Basically this a grocery shop first and then a restaurant. This would not be a place to go on a date, but if you and your date love indian food , then the food would make up for the lack of a romantic ambience. The owner is really friendly and with the setup, i am extremely pleased with the service. For the price you get lot of food. This is score and score in my book. We usually have enough food for a second meal. Cant wait for Sunday!!! Pros: Excellent Food. more

The food is absolutely great. I usually do a pick up. One day, I decided to take my co-works to this place to have lunch....big mistake. The service is the worst I have seen so far. The owner ( teji) did not come and ask what we needed. I had to go to the kitchen window and order. The person I gave ther oder to could not speak english! No one came and asked ,if we needed water , utensils...we had to figure it all by ourselves.This service would have made sense if it was busy...but it was not at all busy..the owner was chatting with her friends. Overall I would say, good place for to-go , but dont sit and eat there. you will be in for a dissapointment. I hope Teji owners read this...they can then improve their service. Pros: Great food.
