Bait and Switch Telemarketer Scam – Taylor Robinson's misleading ads are every bit as fraudulent as Takelessons com and Elite Music instruction.\r \r His ""favorable"" reviews are self written by the salesmen who ever cut and paste them all over the country for different ""local"" instructors ""he"" claims to be. I place ""he"" in quotes because it is really a sweatshop style room of telemarketers who do nothing but make calls to pressure students into hiring ""instructors"" they know nothing about except that they are CHEAT. THAT'S ALL.\r \r ""He"" pretends to be a teacher who knows how to say the right things but the customer finds out that they are really just calling a telemarketer in Dallas who then tries to lie his way into talking you into paying him up front FOR A TEACHER HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE. Then he trolls though the musicians section of Craiglist to find the cheapest instructor so that he can pocket the difference.\r \r In summary, with all of these pay-up-front, bait-and-switch cons you end up paying the highest price to a salesman to find you the WORST instructor and then tries to lock you in so that you NEVER have a chance to find that rare instructor who can actually meet your needs. more

I credit Him for his keen sense of understanding with regard to how to engage my son and retain his interest early on. As a result, playing guitar has become his entertainment, his outlet and his passion. My son Harrison has always demonstrated a love for and interest in music. On his 7th birthday we bought him a guitar and signed him up for lessons with him. It has been almost two years now and Harrison continues to be motivated to learn and grow as a musician. I always wanted my daughter to play an instrument, maybe because I never had the chance to learn myself. She's 6 and at first I was the one pushing her but after her first piano lesson with him she told me, "actually mommy I like my teacher." He uses positive reinforcement, keeps her motivated and keeps me informed with an update after each lesson, so I can see the progress she's making. Most importantly she likes it. more

He is an excellent musician and music teacher. I have been working on guitar for years and recently started piano again after not playing for 20 years. He is able to figure out exactly what I need to work on with either instrument. And can break down any song that I want to learn. more

He taught me on my level and was really good at not being overwhelming. He knew the two songs I wanted to learn and was able to break them down to the point where now I feel like I could practice them on my own and work toward getting the strumming down (now I know how to use a pick!). He was very easy going and never made me feel like an idiot for asking a stupid question or anything. more

This guy is good! And I mean good, believe me because I am the worst guitar player ever. After half an hour with him I am many times better than I was. I actually sound good now - just don't ask me to sing yet (while playing) although he said he could help me get that down as well. more
