I can't say enough good things about Tattoo Licious. I came to Honolulu to visit my daughter. For years we had always discussed the prospect of getting our first tattoos together. So at the end of my first week here we called to make an appointment (I googled and this place gave me the best feelings, and my daughter heard received a couple of good word of mouths). With short notice, I was told Andy would be the only one available to get my daughter and I done before i left the island.
We came in and had our consult. My daughter wanted a rose on her ankle, and me a striking eagle on my right upper arm. Came back the day before to look and Andy's artwork. Thoroughly impressed. My daughter still wasn't 100% sure what she wanted, so she made some changes for Andy - mine was almost perfect.
We arrive the next day to get our work done. Andy was to do us both back to back, so it was to be a long night for him. He tells me due to a series of events the founder of the shop (Sean) was magically available and that he could tattoo me. Andy had worked real hard on my daughters flower and he wanted to do that one. I said Ok to let Sean work on me. So Sean took Andy's design, and I had a couple of comments and Sean made a few tweaks (nothing major because Andy did a great job), and both my daughter and I embarked on our first tattoos together.
Sean and Andy transferred our ideas to our first tattoos to perfection. My daughter who was struggling with exactly what she wanted is absolutely thrilled with her final result, from the rose design to the coloring. Sean put on my arm what I've been dreaming about for decades and blew me away.
My daughter and I walked out of Tattoo Licious with our first tattoo experiences absolutely thrilled. It meant a lot to me to do this with my daughter, and Sean and Andy did a superb job with us. To have a memorable experience made better with such awesome artwork makes me proud of our first tattoos.
I wholeheartedly recommend Tattoo Licious if you are in Honolulu looking for a tattoo.
