Worst Tandoori chicken I ever had (Precooked old food) 12/3/2011

I had tandoori chicken last day and it was horrible. I have ate good fresh Tandoori chicken from different places. The chicken was old. I was sure it was cooked like a day before and they just heated it up before serving me.. The meat close to the bone was black and soaked in oil which means that the chicken is old. I will never eat tandoori from here and I do recommend others, not to eat tandoori chicken from taste of India in new drop lane Staten island. more

FABULOUS FOOD! 10/10/2008

Taste of India is absolutely fabulous. Their food is excellent for the price, because you get alot. I especially love their palak paneer (spinach with cheese cubes) and chicken tikka masala (chicken in a creamy sauce). I also love their cheese and tomato naan, it's an appetizer I haven't seen anywhere else. Whenever I try a new dish I am never dissatisfied. It can be romantic, or a great place for groups. The service is also excellent. Pros: great food, ambience and service. Cons: no cons! more
