Target - Northgate/Bellevue

Amazing isn't it. You can buy your toilet bowl cleaner and some jewelry that won't take you to the cleaner's at the same spot. Target has a surprising selection of both fine and fashion jewelry in their store. So whether you're looking for an amazing present to knock her off of her socks, or something for her to wear with jeans and socks, you can find it at Target. more

I'm gonna have to go with 4 stars for Tar-jhey. They're great for household stuffs - cleaning supplies, tp, health and beauty. The clothes... not so much. Why is it that I go from a size nine to a size 11 or 13 every time I try something on at Target. I just end up all depressed, hating myself, and don't buy anything. Then I have to remind myself that their clothes are crap and are going to disintegrate in a few months anyway. I love the kitchen section and am somewhat of a Michael Graves fan. Thank you, Target, for being head and shoulders above WalMart and KMart - bringing fab design to struggling Gen X and Gen Yers. more

Putting Target in the same group as Kmart and Wal-Mart would be like saying PCC and 7-Eleven are in the same group because they both sell food. Target, like Ikea, offers people who are design-focused yet budget conscious an amazing place to support our lifestyles. more

I also think Target rocks, but it's a discount-store sort of rocks so i'm giving it 3 stars. and i guess i still have the stigma of it being ranked in the same grouping at k-mart, even though it's so much better. i heart Targhay. they do indeed have it all, from maternity clothing to sheets to pet supplies to greeting cards and everything else you can think of. *some* of the stuff they sell (clothing, for instance) is very cheaply made, looks cheap, etc. but some is a steal, like lee jeans for $17. i especially appreciate this store for things like diapers, cat food - generic stuff that is the same no matter where you go, they just charge less. and the northgate store has covered parking and even on a sunday it's easy to find a spot in their plentiful lot. long live targhay! more

If you're one of those slobs that still lumps Target in with Wal-Mart and K-Mart, it's time you took a drive on up to Northgate. In the past few years, Target has had the facelift of the century and is now one of those places that people like me can spend 4 hours a week in and be perfectly happy. Need laundry detergent, a kicky pair of shoes, and the newest brand of whitening toothpaste? No problem. Target has EVERYTHING. I actually heard a girl in the picture frame aisle say to her grumpy boyfriend, "Stop whining! You're ruining my Target experience!" I couldn't agree more-- Target is one of the joys of my life. Don't miss the dollar section right as you walk in on the top floor of the Northgate target-- you will undoubtedly find something you absolutely need. more

Even ballet outfits for little girls! You'll be able to find leotardes and tights for much better prices here than at the dance stores. Shoes? Well, that may have to be a dance store thing. Also, Nordstroms sells ballet shoes. more
