Stopped in to try it on a whim and we got seated promptly and cheerfully. Drink order was taken immediately after we'd had a chance to look at the menu and drinks were delivered promptly. Everybody in the place was working hard, happy, and on the bounce. The chips were good and they've got some yummy salsas. The meals were just ""meh"" however. Like the cook is afraid of his spice rack or something. I don't know how it is possible to make a bland chile colorado but they managed it. And a bland pozole. And a bland enchilada verde. If you've got a friend who needs to eat bland meals for medical reasons this would be a great compromise place to go. more

Good place for Mexican north of Seattle 3/9/2010

This is a friendly small Mexican place close to Costco in Shoreline. The wait staff is friendly and quick. The drinks are strong be careful. As far as gluten free, there were very few options as their corn tortillas have wheat flour in them. A great place to meet a small group of folks we stayed for several hours without anyone looking twice at us. However, there isn't really a great space for a group bigger than 6. My favorite Mexican place 1/30/2010

I have been going here for about a year now and I am hooked. I have tried so many things - taqueria style tacos, arroz con pollo, amazing verde enchiladas, and my very favorite is their carne asada. Everything has been amazing. I can't go to any other Mexican restaurants now! My boyfriend and I go almost every week and on the weeks where we don't make it, I literally can't stop thinking about it until I make it back. Service wise, my favorite little gem is this sweet girl named Leticia. Always cheerful and pleasant, she is just one more reason we keep coming back. Great job, guys. Pros: yummy food, strong drinks, good service Cons: one waiter is extremely slow...that's it. more

Delicious Carne Asada 11/22/2008

We love this place. Tonight we ordered the food take out and they had the carne asada ready in 5 minutes. The food is always authentic and non-greasy unlike the run of the mill Mexican restaurant down the street...Suport your local community and eat here! Pros: The food is authentic and consistently delicious. Cons: None that I can think of... more

Margaritas that will knock you to the floor 2/16/2008

I was recently taken to Taqueria Guaymas by a friend on a Saturday night. Although I really wanted pork tamales, the server said that they were entirely out of pork (how this happens, I don't know), so I had chicken tamales instead. The complimentary salsa/pico de gallo and chips was delicious. And, my friend had warned me in advance about the deadly nature of their margaritas -- even though I nursed just one drink over the course of our dinner, I was nearly fall-down drunk, to the point where I needed to be driven home! It was definitely worth the money! Pros: Mouth-watering chips, salsa, pico de gallo, and margaritas! Cons: They were out of pork the night I ate there. more
