Follow Your Nose 4/24/2006

On my way from one sweet smelling place (Cafe Besalu) to another, Tall Grass uses its imaginary cartoon fingers to lure me in with that yummy, yeast-y smell. Their organic loaves are incredible. Just pop in for a delicious loaf and you won't be disappointed. more

Best Baguette Ever 3/2/2006

Drop that silly Atkins diet right now, and go to the Tall Grass Bakery. Follow your nose in and you will find a team of hard-working, dedicated bakers pummelling and mixing dough. Though everything is terrific and organic, I have imprinted on the crispy-tender plain baguette. If you time it right, you can buy a warm one (I think they come out at 3 and 6 pm.) See if you can get home with the loaf intact. more
