Funky 6/4/2006

I don't think I would actually ever by a bag from this store. Most of their handbags are a bit too funky for my tastes and I don't think I could ever find an outfit to match them with. But they do make a great gift for that funky friend that all of us has in our lives! And if not, then this place is also good to check out for luggage. They have a good selection of suitcases and handbags that are perfect for traveling. The prices for these are usually lower than the things you find at higher end stores too. more

When is it NOT going out of business 5/13/2006

Every time I walk by this store, they claim to be having a "Going out of business sale." The last time I checked, that means it's closing-- not true in this case. This store is a favorite of my wife's, mainly because it's jam packed full of purses, handbags, wallets, and accessories. Prices aren't too bad considering that they stock a lot of designer bags. If you are browsing and don't find what you want on sale, just wait a week or so until you see the signs for "everything must go. Again. more

Her Bag (That's Our Bag) 2/16/2006

Looking for a unique purse, bag or accessory for that special friend, girl friend, co-worker or yourself? Check out this store. I love browsing through their unique merchandise. The staff is pretty friendly and it's close to all of the El trains and Michigan shopping. That's Our Bag is under renovation currently but it's a fun place to shop as well (they're right next door to each other). more

You Can Bag It 8/16/2005

That's Our Bag is basically a luggage store that sells all kinds of bags including backpacks, handbags, messenger bags, wallets, etc. Some of their prices were very reasonable such as on Jansport backpacks. I mean you can't expect bargain prices from a store located in Chicago's premier shopping district. I was looking for a wallet a few months ago and ventured in. They had a lot of high end, hand-crafted wallets with a hefty price tag. I ended up getting one at Marshall Field's on sale. They do have a good selection. I just felt out of place in here. more
