If you go here for sushi, you'll feel more like you walked into a night club sort of place. It has a very night club sort of feel and the drinks and martinis here are awesome! They play some great, fresh music here which puts you in a great mood. As for its namesake, the sushi here is one of the best around. I'm a big fan of sushi and have tried many places in Chicago. This place is definitely in my top five list. The service can be a bit slow here at times, but that is really okay with me because the food and drinks here are awesome and so is the atmosphere. more

One of the best sushi places in Chicago 4/6/2006

This is a small restaurant in the warehouse district (next to all of the other restaurants on Randolph). The restaurant is pretty small so it gets busy and has a bustling vibe. The sushi is great (both the pieces and the rolls) and all of the fish is very fresh. The rolls are very innovative, try the Godzilla roll! There are also a lot of drink choices, including martinis with sake. more

Excellent sushi. 9/7/2005

I can always count on a great experience at Sushi Wabi. The sushi is super fresh and the rolls are creative (try the Dragon roll!). Although it's a small space, it feels larger because of the loft-vibe with the high ceilings and exposed brick. You can watch the chefs in action from every table in the place. There's also a DJ who spins during dinner. more
