Nathan from Surf City Pest Control was terrific. He's a five-star guy. I enjoyed his communication and knowledge about the termites and his inspection. He did well, but when they did the actual work his new assistant had left black hand prints on the wall. When I complained, they went out of their way to paint the wall and handle the situation. They also painted over areas where it looked like there were holes left from the sealant they injected. They did a really good job. more

Peace of mind! 1/22/2014

Surf City Pest Control did a termite treatment at my house. They were prompt. They confirmed and set up at the right time. It was one guy doing the work, and he went through and told me what he was doing step by step. He went through the warranty with us. Everything's been good so far, and I've already referred someone to them. I would say you should go ahead and use them! more

Surf City Pest Control was on time and very courteous when they came and did termite removal at my home. They did a really good job. It was a very positive experience, and I would use them again. If you're thinking of using them, I would say go ahead and use them. They are reliable. The even did work while I wasn't home. They are reliable and honest. more

Got the job done as promised. 12/3/2013

Surf City Pest Control came out once to inspect, then came twice more to do the work. They handled rodent control and the extermination of subterranean termites. They were polite, friendly, informative, and sure to do what they said they would. more

I found Surf City Pest Control on Angie's List and just used them for the first time. First of all, the girls in the office were great to work with. This was for a second home, so it was a little more difficult with me not being there. They had to coordinate times to meet people and coordinate with the gas company, which all worked out perfectly. more

We called Surf City Pest Control when we had termites. They spread everywhere. Following our contract, Surf City changed some beams in the attic, because they were completely eaten away. And while they were here doing the treatment for the termites, we told them we also had an ant problem, so they did a treatment outside for us. Everything turned out very good. They are very professional, and the price is reasonable. They are very nice people. I would recommend them to my friends. more

Very good experience 11/12/2013

Surf City did termite inspection and treated. They were prompt and called before they arrived. They arrived when they said they would and were punctual--that's important to me. One thing I didn't like was, during the inspection, the guy actually did some damage to some wood--he pulled a part of it off. He said he could patch it but I didn't understand why it was damaged in the first place. J. Konami more

Affordable Quality. 9/27/2013

Surf City Pest Control did a termite inspection under the house and subterranean level. I got a quote from 5 different pest control services and Surf City gave me the lowest. An ant treatment was thrown in as the overall deal, because you often get ants when you're termited. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. They are affordable. It felt like I spent less and got more. more

Surf City Pest Control did termite control and put some kind of pest control installation in my attic. The guy who came out was very sweet and efficient. He gave me the estimate as well as led the work team that were out here. They were very timely and I have not a single complaints--and I can be very picky! more

Everyone I contacted there was just great. 6/12/2013

My AC service guy had noted rats had eaten through the tubes. First, I placed a phone call. I scheduled an appointment with the first gentleman and he went through everything. He showed me the rat infested areas and then we worked out the pricing, and what was going to be done. The following Monday he came out and put down the traps. The Monday following that, they came and vacuumed the old insulation and dead rats, then came the following day and blew in the new insulation. more

I have had the pleasure of working with Surf City Pest Control for almost a year now. As a maintenance manager for over 200 properties I have to admit it is a great feeling to have such a responsive pest control company when services are needed. The technicians are timely, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their administrative staff always greet you over the phone with a great attitude and attentiveness. I just got a basic service with them. They were diligent, they expressed concern that our address wasn't showing up on their GPS and wanted to make sure they arrived on time. They actually arrived a little bit early. We picked them because they're a green firm. That gave us extra comfort. They were upfront when I scheduled the appointment about the need to leave the house as to not be exposed to anything. more
