Neither snow nor............... 3/11/2011

Superior goes above and beyond to get the job done. I had scheduled January 27, 2011 with Mark to move both my sister and me from two households into one. In spite of the snow storm we had, Joe and his team didn't let that stop them. Throughout what I call ""the ordeal"" they were professionals. No problem was too big, no request too small. They work hard to give great service and make the whole experience stress free for the customer. I can say I actually had fun and enjoyed the day.This is the second time I've used Superior and I wouldn't call anyone else. My thanks to Mark and the great bunch of guys he has working with him. more

Superior is the best!!!! 3/10/2011

Superior is the best. Jack and Brian helped pack my condo when I got sick of doing it. The guys were so good at what they do. Jack even fixed my toilet which had been running for weeks. The condo complex wouldn't even come out and fix it. They packed me up and the movers came out the next day. I didn't catch all their names but I know the leader was T-Bone. These guys were so fast, I couldn't believe my eyes. Superior really helped me out but on top of that, they have some really good people working for them. Thanks!!!!! more

Good Moving Company 3/9/2011

had to have a few itmes of mine moved into storage. i called around to a few places to get some prices and feel them out. i ended up going with superior moving and i was very happy with my decision. i had to men by the name of billy hudson, and mike scull, those guys did an excellent job. superior's storages prices were cheapest in the area, and the moving prices were excellent as well. i just wanted to go out of my way and post something good, because most of the time people only go out of there way to post something bad, so i am my proagative to post good things on companys. so excellencent company, just give them a call for yourself!! more

Superior Movers, the best. 3/4/2011

I've moved four times in my lifetime and these were the best movers I've ever had. They were prompt, friendly, hard-working, and most of all, patient. Their professionalism and experience were obvious. I was moving very large furniture pieces into a small area and their suggestions were much appreciated and often used. Chuck, Bill, and Muff were very helpful and I can't recommend them enough. more

Cheap and quick!!!! 3/3/2011

This company moved me for $385!!!! Every other quote was over $500. I didn't even get to finish packing since I was in such a rush to move out of my apartment. They charged me $1 per box. Every company was charging me 3, 4, or 5 per box which they didn't mention when I first called by the way. Superior was great. They got me out of a jam and made my move painless. I feel like not enough people go out of their way to write good reviews, only bad ones, so I felt the need to write something for Mark and Steve who helped me out big time. Thanks again Superior!!! more

Great company 3/2/2011

Superior helped me move from my apartment on February 13th. It was the only day I could move because my landlord put me in a terrible situation. It was a Sunday and I couldn't get any other mover to move me on a Sunday. I called Superior and they came to my house the next day. I want to thank Superirr for the great job they did and I am so pleased. more

Good Moving Company 3/1/2011

IM AN OLDER WOMEN WHO IS A WIDOW AND MY SON IS IN CURRENTLY DOING A VOLUNTARY TOUR IN IRAQ, SO I HAD TO HIRE A MOVING COMPANY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. SUPERIOR HAD THE BEST PRICES AND THATS WHO I FELT MOST COMFORTABLE WITH ALMOST LIKE A GUT FEELING. THE MOVERS SHOWED UP ON TIME DID EVERYTHING I COULD EXPECTED FROM THEM AND EVEN A LITTLE MORE. IF I WOULD OF KNOWN IT WOULD OF BEEN AS CHEAP AS IT WAS I WOULD OF ALWAYS USED THIS COMPANY INSTEAD OF MY SON, BROTHER, AND LATE HUSBAND. STRAIGHT FORWARD COMPANY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE IS MOVING! more

USE ANY OTHER MOVER FIRST! 2/23/2011

Not sure how folks posted good reviews about these folks! Probably written by the employees themselves! We had nothing but crappy service from them! Arrived 5 hours late, packed stuff up okay, but lots of scratches on antiques, and broke a chair. Finally showed up a week later, only to use a crayon to fill in scratches, and must've had a 4 year old put the glue on the chair they tried to fix - RUNINED IT! Glue everywhere! Next time they came back, 5 hours late again, showed up with too small a truck, then said they couldn't do the job as they bid it, so the bastards WALKED OFF! Left an 78 year old woman to find another mover by the end of the month, and today is the 24th! AVOID THESE SCOUNDRELS!!\r After reading other low reviews, it's clear this company writes their own high praise reviews. Also they quoted a price of $650, but managed to come up with various add-ons that almost doubled the original bid! AVOID THESE A$$HOLES!! more

Great movers 2/21/2011

I am a 66 year old woman with a disability. I know, in my circumstance, I will need to pay a little extra to have my relocation completed. I called around to a bunch of movers and tried to get the least expensive rate. I called Superior and they blew everyone out of the water. I did not see an increase in price when I needed some of my things packed too. They really made the process easy and affordable. The guys showed up on time and were so polite. They moved me to my new apartment in under 7 hours even though they had to do some packing. Thanks to T and Felix on a great job. more

SUPERIOR MOVING EXCELLENT MOVERS 2/18/2011

I WAS CALLING AROUND TO GET PRICES FOR MOVING, HAD A FEW COMPANYS COME OUT TO GIVE ME ESTIMATES, ONE OF WHICH WAS SUPERIOR MOVING. I DECIDED TO GO WITH SUPERIOR MOVING FOR MANY REASONS, SOME OF WHICH I DOUBTED. I HAVE A 4 BEDROOM HOUSE THAT IS APP. 5,000 SQ FEET, AND THEY TOLD ME IT COULD BE DONE IN ONE DAY, AND I ANTICIPATED IT BEING TWO DAYS AS WELL AS THE OTHER MOVERS. WELL NOW I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW CAUSE SURE ENOUGH THEY DID IT IN ONE DAY AND I COULD NOT BE MORE HAPPY. THEY WERE EVEN FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS CHEAPER, I WOULD OF PAID EXTRA TO HAVE IT DONE IN ONE DAY BUT OTHER COMPANYS WANTED TO STAY AWAY BUT SUPERIOR MOVING DID IT AND SAVED ME MONEY. Great experience 2/17/2011

We researched the online reputations of a number of Philadelphia area movers before getting estimates. My wife had used Superior before and liked them, but we had some concern with the sporadic bad review we saw online. I brought my concerns tot he company when we decided to get estimates and they addressed each of my concerns up front. Better yet, they did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it and on budget. I said before we moved, ""if you do what you say you'll do, I'll make sure I share my experience online."" I would recommend Superior to anyone planning a move. Its important you have them take a look at your home ahead of time to offer you a realistic estimate. Best of all, they can beat most any company in the area on hourly price and performance. more

Fantastic company 2/16/2011

Superior is the best. They moved me from my apartment in South Philly to Ardmore for $455. The guys were so fast and they took care of my furniture. I even had sentimental items that were treated with the utmost care. The guys were so nice too. I would definitely recommend Superior to anyone that needs to move. more

easy move 2/13/2011

superior gave me a very easy move. i didnt have to do anything. they came in, moved me into my new house in under 7 hours. ive never seen such a show. once they were done i felt so relieved. they assembled all my furniture before they left and unwrapped everything. superior was great to me. they made my move day less stressful. more

This is a great company. I've moved with them 4 times with the most recent time being 2 weeks ago. Mark helps me out every time I need to move. My experience has always been pleasant and stress-free. I will definitely call Superior again when I have to move in about a year. Thanks!!! more

Superior is superior!!!! 2/13/2011

I needed to move in a hurry. The buyers of my house needed a quick settlement, giving me less than a week to move out of my house. I called around and around to about 10 different companies. Nobody could fit me in on a Saturday which I needed because I CANNOT miss any time from work. I finally got contacted Mark at Superior and he assured me that he would be able to handle my move day with ease and he was right. The movers wouldn't let me do anything. I asked them how I could help and they told me to sit back and relax. They even left the tv for last so I could watch tv while they moved the rest of my furniture. The move went smoothly and the price was pretty good. Overall, I'm happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this company to anyone moving. Great job. more

never used this moving company personally but my downstairs neighbor did. after noticing that their truck had backed up into my car which was parked in front of the apartment they were moving, i went outside to get a closer look at my car. when i mentioned to one of the movers that my car had been damaged, he began a verbal assault. i went back into my apartment to get my phone so i could take pictures. as i began to take photos, once back outside, the mover ""jay"" (yes, he was ""smart"" enough to tell me his name) began asking me if i would pose for him to take a few pictures of me, and if i would take a few photos together with him. i was absolutely shocked!! i would never recommend this moving company to anyone. and certainly not for any single woman because jay seems like he is interested in more than just moving furniture. he could possibly be a risk for some type of physical assault especially considering he knows where you relocated. what an asset to the company he is. these people are not worth th money, trouble, or risk, and i didnt request their services. i just happen to be the neighbor of someone who did. more

i had TWO MEN AND A TRUCK ( thats the name of the company) move me last time and i had nothing but problems that day, the one guy actually told me it was his first day on the job lol. so this time i shopped around to get some price from other companies, and SUPERIOR MOVING was the cheapest, Mark the owner really sold me the job. i had the same amout of stuff as when i moved last time and Superior was about 200 dollars cheaper and went a hell of alot smoother lol. I just wanted to thank Mark and the guys for all they had done. more

THANKS TO THE PEOPLE AT SUPERIOR 2/4/2011

CALL SUPERIOR ABOUT A MONTH BEFORE I HAD TO MOVE MY THING FROM STORAGE INTO MY HOUSE, SCHEDULED MY DATE AND LEFT IT AT THAT. I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE WHAT I THOUGHT WAS MY MOVE DATE, BUT WHEN I CALLED THE MONTH BEFORE MY WIFE WAS LOOKING AT LAST YEARS CALENDAR AND GOT THE DATES MIXED UP SO WE WERE REALLY SCHEDULED FOR DELIVERY A COUPLE DAYS LATER. THAT DAY I NEED TO MOVE WAS A FRIDAY AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE ALREADY BOOKED WHICH I IMAGINED THEY WOULD BE CAUSE ITS THE FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH AND I WOULD BELIEVE THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO MOVE ON A SAT OR SUN. WELL SOME HOW SOME WAY THEY ULTIMATELY FIT ME IN THEIR SCHEDULE AND I COULDN'T OF BEEN MORE HAPPY JUST WANT TO THANK MARK AND EVERYONE ELSE AT SUPERIOR MOVING more

AVOID! BEWARE! LOOK ELSEWHERE 2/3/2011

Apparently the workers and associates of Superior Moving have been busy posting positive reviews about this shoddy moving service. \r \r To make a long story short, In June 2010, I called Superior Moving and left a message with an employee. The owner, Richard, called me back. Since I was pressed for time, I decided to hire Superior Moving. \r \r The movers showed up three hours late. They looked and acted as if they had just been released from prison. This was cause for alarm for my partner and me. They scratched my mahogany table and broke a lamp given to me by my late aunt. Afterwards, instead of delivering my items to their proper destination, I discover that my stuff is piled up at their shoddy warehouse. They tacked on another $1500 dollars--more than what I was quoted. After numerous phone calls and arguing, they finally delivered my stuff. My DVD player and microwave were missing. I am relieved to be done with these BLACKMAILING, SORRY, LAZY, UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE A##HOLES. AVOID AT ALL COST! You've been warned. more

Superior is the best. I needed to move in an emergency. I called around to different companies until I found Superior. Theyw ere able to move me the next day. I can't believe how well the move went. They made it look easy and I was so stressed until it was over. And it was cheap!!! I would definitely recommend Superior to anyone that needs to mvoe. more
