Never coming back to this place ever again! The first time I went the workers at the store made me and my wife feel so segregated! Granted I am not Caucasian (I'm Filipino) they kept their eyes on us like they've never seen a Filipino person before! Keep in mind the majority of their customers are Caucasian. One of the workers in the store even had the nerve to ask us where we are from. WTF!!! I live down the street literally 3 minutes away from here Jerk! That instance occured 2 years ago.
While me and my family were walking through the mall my wife's slipper (shoe) broke so we figured they have somewhat of a variety there and I wanted to give them another shot. As we walk in the store no one was in the front so we started looking around. One of the workers 40-50 year old male walks to the front and just gave us a surprised look. Hey JERK! We aren't Caucasian!! Surprise! We aren't going to rob you!! Anyway, he kept sending his workers to check up on us every 30 seconds. Do you know how uncomfortable that is? Unfortunately my wife needed a pair of slippers so she picks out a pair and hands them to me so I could pay for them. At this point I'm already pissed off thinking about what happened last time so I throw the slippers at the register counter. My cell phone rings at the same time so I answer it and decide to go forward with the call. I was raised with manners so normally I would tell the person on the other line I will call them back later but oh what the hell. A female worker starts ringing up the slippers never greeting us. I answer back with attitude and continue to take the call with a loud and obnoxious voice. Now keep in mind, that 40-50 year old guy that works there is watching the whole thing probably shaking his head at the whole thing. After ""OVERPAYING"" (YES THESE GUYS ARE NOT CHEAP! WAAAAAY OVERPRICED!"" I grab the slippers from the register counter and storm out.
I normally don't leave bad feedback like this but these guys need to get out of the 1950's and learn how to treat customers with respect especially if they aren't CAUCASIAN. Mind you I don't have any problems with Caucasian people but I know when I'm getting snubbed or profiled. I wouldn't recommend coming to this store. Just go to Sports Authority where you can get a better deal and there are no color lines!
