Suparossa

To say that I love Italian food would be a gross understatement. When I die and go to heaven, I will ask them to serve me Suparossa's stuffed pizza and I'll be a happy angel forever :) I have been going here for many years and love it most every time (there were a couple instances in the past, however, with a snippy waiter and the manager not handling something in the proper manner, but I have forgiven them). The stuffed pizza is FANTASTIC. I also recommend the stuffed shells and (my new fave), the eggplant parmesean. They bake it and cover it with all this wonderful cheese and sauce, and it's served on top of mostaccioli. They have a pretty dining area, and do deliverys and carryout as well (a tip for you...the carryout prices are about $4 less per meal than dining in, which is a good deal!) But it's nice to enjoy a special evening out and be served well too, right!? You'll really like this place. more

I love Italian food and have dined here a few times. The staff is well trained and the food is very good. Management however must have a bit of an attitude lately or the changed hands because they recently added a $7.95 fee for sharing entrees. When we first starting coming here there was no fees for sharing, actually it was encouraged. I love to share entrees with family and my guests. That's what familys are about here and in Italy. I think they made a big mistake and are trying for an new clientele. All I know is they are at Central/Montrose not Michigan Ave. or Kenilworth,Il. I would give a four or five star rating if it wasn't for the recent "tude". more

This italian restaurant is located at 4256 N. Central Ave. in Chicago,Illinois.They offer a huge choice of Italian pastas,chicken dishes,meats,seafoods,and pizzas.They have delicious stuffed pizza,but it will take 45 minutes to bake so order an appetizer.I would suggest getting the full size dinners because you will a lot more for a few more dollars.Wonderful wait staff and don't forget to order dessert.You will love the chocolate truffle cake. more
