OK, so I'm a guy... and I live in West Hollywood... and I like to get a nice tan, but because I have a history of skin problems running in the family, I don't want to use the regular beds; I tried pretty much every possible machine-spray-tan in the area and aside from Mystic Tan (which I use occasionally to maintain my color), I regularly get my fake tan sprayed on by Debbie from Sunless To You... \r
\r
They offer to come to your home, but let me tell you - I did that once and it's a MESS - so I prefer to leave the cleanup to them, by booking my appointment at the local tanning salon they work with (Pacific Sun - as far as I'm concerned, the NICEST and CLEANEST place I've ever seen). \r
\r
At first I was a bit weirded out - standing in my skimpiest bathing suit in front of a total stranger- but Debbie made me feel totally comfortable and walked me through the whole process. She seems to know her stuff -and I couldn't recommend anybody else.\r
\r
She charges $50 for a session, which usually lasts me about 6-7 days.\r
If I feel that I need a refresher, I go to Pacific Sun and touch up my color by doing a Mystic Tan (AVOID level 3: it made me look TOO tan - and it looked TOO fake)...\r
\r
I'll be posting this also on the Pacific Sun listing, because I think they deserve to be mentioned, as they seem to have the nicest setup around...
Pros: AWESOME color!
Cons: a bit tight parking in the back... Color fades fast when I go in the Jacuzzi or Pool (chemicals?)
