I decided to see for myself this Russian dancer their talking about on stage, how gorgouse she is. Show up on a friday noon and the place is nice comparing places I've been. Didn't try their food, but their piece was reasonable for a seafood buffet. Drinks are priece $$. Their's plenty of girls of all kind of shape, color and looks! No doubt, their's a gorgouse gal for you, unless your gay. It was a up scale gentlemen club in which young gals are trying to make a living. No, I wasn't disappointed of not seeing the Russian gal. Ok so I went there on this past monday.I ordered a drink and sat at the bar for starters (The Bartenders there are friendly and mix a good drink).I had a couple of nice girls come up to say hi and ask if i needed a dance or anything and I declined because i am not a fan of the bottle blonde or implant type of girl (I like the look of a natural girl).So after a little while they called to the main stage a girl called svetlanna (Not sure if that is the correct spelling) So I went a took a seat a little closer to the stage and I can tell you she is one very hot all natural russian sweetheart.I wound up spending about 6 hours with her and I will deffinetly be going back to see her again as much as my wallet will allow :) They have alot of bottle blondes there and some older girls as well but if you are like me and like a girl that has natural beauty without the need for fake implants,hair etc they have alot of those too if you just look around a little (Svetlanna being one of them).I would deffinetly reccomend this club over alot of the smaller clubs in houston (It does'nt look as seedy or scummy as clubs like ricks cabaret and some others in the area).There is a club right up the street from st. james called houston dolls and as I passed by I felt like just looking at it you could get an std (I drive by there sometimes down rankin and i've seen the cops there more than once in force).All in all nomatter what kind of girl you like you will probably find her at st. james. This club is huge by any standard and beautifully built. There are four stages, with a shower over the main stage for shower shows. Super-high ceilings prevent that cave-like feeling you get at most strip clubs. Shane, the night DJ (except Sundays) is the best. This place is not raided nearly as much as the other strip clubs in the Houston area. The main reason they aren't raided that often is because they are not in the Houston City Limits. The last raid was May 29, 2008. It has been an entire year with no raids. Check out some of the other spots. As far as it being disgusting, I think all strip clubs are a little disgusting, but we continue to go. The place is actually pretty clean. There are never any dirty tables, and the girls are pretty hot. They get my vote. There is a pool out back and a shower on main stage. They valet and wash your car. They serve everything from Lobster to lamb chops. Sounds pretty good to me! more

Well, I must say this is the most filthy & disgusting places I have ever visited. I am from California, and was visiting Houston, so we decided to come to this place, as it was close to where we were staying at. The women collecting cover charge outside, omg, what attitudes! Both looked like grannys with wrinkles.There is this moron manager dressed up in a suit standing outside the club who looks like a glorified pimp, looked like a pig wearing a makeup. You notice a pimp whe you see one. Now inside, there are FAT ugly waitresses all around wearing stockings & heels, what a punishment that was to watch. Only 1 or 2 woman was decent looking, rest were all broke. The smoke almost choked us up. Most women were horrible to look at, we couldnt beleive it. The earlier reveiws also mention that Houston police is investigating this place, I almost fell down today reading about the raid which took place in this dump. Since I am not from Houston, I didnt know about he police raids here.I am sure that illegal stuff is going in this disgusting joint. The business had been the subject of numerous recent complaints from citizens concerned about possible prosttitution, narcotics violations and violations of sexually oriented business regulations. In response to the complaints, the Sheriff's Office's Vice Division conducted a brief investigation during the past week. As a result of that investigation, vice investigators filed 14 charges against employees of the St. James Cabaret, primarily for violations of SOB regulations and prostttitution. Investigators had also discovered 18 outstanding warrants for employees of the business. During the raid of the business, which began at approximately 1pm, Sheriff's deputies sought to execute the above warrants, and were prepared to file additional charges if any additional violations were observed. A few weeks ago, I was looking for a change of pace and something closer to where I lived than the Gentlemen's Club on Sage & Richmond. Anyway, I decided to try St. James out, and absolutely loved it. Several girls asked if I wanted company, but I wasn't ready yet, and none of them forced their way on me. Then Ava walked in, and WOW. She sat with me for over five hours. I have been back twice since, and it's been within a month. The girls seem to have fun on the stage, and are high-energy. I recommend Ava or Hudson to anyone. And this place is off the hook. The one thing that is not good, is if you get there during shift change, it's hard to get a drink, but I'll definitely be back. Pros: Not many of the girls are too aggressive, and they'll leave you alone if you don't want a dance. Cons: Wait Staff during shift change, and a little pricey, but well worth it. more

I had heard a lot about this pace and had the opportunity to drop in there the other day. I was pleasantly surprised at the entertainers and staff. I had a waitress named Blair that waited on me. She was on her game at all times. She introduced me to a lady by the name of Stephanie and she couldn't have made a better choice. She was witty and enjoyable to talk to. She is a very good dancer as well. They have a wide variety of dancers there. All of them beautiful. The drinks were reasonably priced for the type of establishment. All in all. St. James is probably the best club in Houston. Its also located on the north side by the woodlands so it has a fantastic "non-ghetto" crowd. I can easily spend $500 or more there and know I got my moneys worth on the food, drink, and girls. They women are very beautiful and they have a very wide selection from ages to ethnicity. Any wrong comment on here would probably be because that gentleman probably couldn't afford more than 1 or 2 dances. Its very classy and deserves the highest respect. I recommend it fully. The St. James is one of the top three strip clubs in Houston. The drinks are good, the food is fantastic, and there is always a crop of good-looking women who are willing to sit down and have an entertaining conversation and give you a fantastic dance later. The waitresses are average but the bartenders are fantastic. There isn't a cover charge until 7 p.m. and it's not expensive. The only thing is that you are required to pay is a 5 dollar state tax now when you walk in but that applies to EVERY strip club. It's a new law. The only thing is that the carpets in various places (in a few of the dancing rooms but not all) are starting to smell because of spilled drinks and what not but I'm told they are replacing the carpets within a month.
