The St. James is one of the top three strip clubs in Houston. The drinks are good, the food is fantastic, and there is always a crop of good-looking women who are willing to sit down and have an entertaining conversation and give you a fantastic dance later. The waitresses are average but the bartenders are fantastic. There isn't a cover charge until 7 p.m. and it's not expensive. The only thing is that you are required to pay is a 5 dollar state tax now when you walk in but that applies to EVERY strip club. It's a new law. The only thing is that the carpets in various places (in a few of the dancing rooms but not all) are starting to smell because of spilled drinks and what not but I'm told they are replacing the carpets within a month. Other than that, it is still one of the top strip clubs to go to in Houston.
