Great resort for any occasion! 12/7/2010

St. Augustine Beachfront Resort was selected for our recent gathering of friends because of the location, the amenities offered, the reasonable cost, and the helpful friendliness of the staff. We were not disappointed in a one of these areas. Judy Smith, Sales Mgr. and the staff promptly attended our every need. The location on the beautiful beach and adjacent to Anastasia State Park added yet another dimension of pleasure to our visit there. It is a most desirable destination for family, friends, business, or social occasions! more

We were given a room in the new section which was very nice and clean. Service at the front desk was extremely friendly and very helpful. Both my husband and myself would recommend this resort hotel to all our friends. We will most definitely come back. more

All the reviews mention the old, grungy rooms, but fail to mention the AWESOME pool with waterslide and children's play area, and tiki bar, all walking distance to the beach, pier, and awesome little eatery across the street. The staff was acommodating, the room was adequate, albeit old and worn. Chek-in was not until 3 p.m., but we arrived at 10:30 a.m. with beach gear in tow and were allowed to spend the entire day at the pool unitl our room was ready. The kids (and I!) loved the waterslide. DH loved the tiki bar. We drove in locally and only planned to spend one night, so we spent the dy at the pool, beach and out to dinner, slept in teh room for a few hours, showered in the mornng and checked out. Spent teh next day in downtown St. Aug and drove home.We had a great time at the pool. They also have an indoor pool and hot tub for cooler days (I assume) that was pretty new. If you are not a high maintenance person, you will love it. more

The location can't be beat 11/17/2010

My husband and I found this gem back in June and now we're back in August. The location can't be beat. Our room was clean and accomodating with a marvelous view of the beach. We'd drink our morning coffee on the balcony while watching the local surfers play in the waves. The housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient with tidying up our room each day and the front desk staff were especially helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Close enough to historic St. Augustine to enjoy the sites, but quiet and relaxing if you want to chill by the ocean. We'll definitely be back in December. I highly recommend this hotel! more

St.Augustine Beach Front Resort the one and only place to stay in St.Augustine for uneverending and unforgetable family fun. We have stayed there for 6 years on our 8 days family vacation and would never go anywhere else. My children would totally refuse to go on vacation if we were to decide to go anywhere else. Definitley come back here with the family again 10/25/2010

I booked a room for 4 nights at this resort for myself (a single mother) and my 3 young children, ages 10, 8, and 1. I have to say that after reading the reviews, I was very skeptical of staying here with my children but thought I would chance it...so glad I did!! The staff were so delightful, they allowed us to check in about 3 hours early, got out in the night to get us supplies, and again in the night to unlock our room after we locked the key inside. The pool was fantastic, the kids had a blast sliding on the water slide and also enjoyed the indoor pool after hours as long as we kept the noise down. I could sit at the pool and look straight out to the beach, had the convenience of washing our clothes in the laundry facility before heading home, and could have used the exercise equipment if I had chosen to do so. In closing, I would like to say that this hotel is great for the price, has excellent access to the beach, and I felt completely safe and at home. When I return to Saint Augustine, I will stay here again!! more

We went on a girl's night out just to relax and enjoy the weather and the beach at St Augustine. When we found the beachfront resort, the manager was so friendly and being happy for us, she blessed us with a wonderful extra 2 days, with a big discount! The room was beautifully, newly remodeled, clean, comfy and right on the beach. Everything we could have hope for and we enjoyed every minute of our stay--will definitely come back!! more

Our visit was Wonderful 10/13/2010

My 8 year old daughter and I visited this hotel during spring break in April. Our visit was wonderful! We had one of the new rooms that was right outside the pool area. My daughter was completely satisfied with the slide and the inside pool. My favorite was the beach! It was very nice to walk on with out a lot of trash on the beach! We have no complaints! We walked away with a very memorable experience. In fact we are making plans to revisit again soon! The hotel is under some construction, so there were some areas that didn’t have carpet...such as the breeze way, going into the hotel, but it’s understandable. more

We had such a blast here!!!! 10/5/2010

Me and my Boyfriend took a vacation down in Florida and decided to stay here for a few nights. We stayed 03/31/09-04/03/2009. We stayed in room 235. I loved the room! It was one of the newly renovated rooms and I couldn't have asked for more, especially for the great deal we got! The location is great.! It was close to everything! And we could sit on our balcony and look at the ocean! It was also nice to hear the ocean at night! I loved the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. I have posted pictures so everyone can see what a great place this is, especially for the money spent! I was leary after reading some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised as soon as we checked in. Check in took about 5 mintues and there was even two people a head of me. There was nothing to complain about there like some past reviewers and check out took even less time. I had no problems with the room being dirty. It appeared to be very clean. I would definitely stay here whenever I am in St. Augustine and will recommend the St. Augustine Beachfront Resort to anybody I know! more

The room was nice and we were only 10 minutes from the Historic Downtown Area. We had alot of fun and cant wait to go back! We stayed in room 116 right in front of the ocean. more
