Best

Always dependable, always delicious.

Worst

Usually this place is amazing but there were bones in the chicken and instead of grounded chicken it was just chunks of grayish stuff that I guess was chicken. Very disappointing

Gett'n freaky and eat'n good 2/10/2007

Food was excellent. BYOB is always a plus. We were seated promptly. So.So service. Light music. Nice variety on the menu. Ok for kids. Pros: Food and BYOB Cons: Service more

Spicy, Tasty, and Adventurous 1/6/2007

Best Thai I've found since moving back to the City. Very authentic; many unusual dishes and most very good. Also, if you like spice, you don't have to beg here to give you a spicy dish. Did have one dish I wouldn't recommend -- the whole fish. Otherwise, be adventurous and enjoy. BYOB. Pros: Unusual authentic Thai Dishes, as well as the traditional stuff. Spicy without asking. Cons: Whole fish not very good. more

Mushy fried rice! 7/6/2005

My friend and I decided to try a new thai place, and were extremely disapponted in Thai Spoon. The overpriced eggrolls looked like mini appetizers-- really small. The chicken fried rice I ordered was so mushy, with boiled chicken and no vegetables. I had 3 bites and took it out to the dumpster. The meal which consisted of fried rice and eggrolls was just under 20 bucks!! And the woman behind the counter was mean. I should call and complain, but instead of a just getting a credit at some place I would never eat at again, I decided to tell Chicagoland about it. Cons: mushy fried rice, overpriced more

Great Thai food a little out of the way 6/1/2005

We had to take two trains to get here, but it was well worth it. The Thai food was out of this world. I had fried tofu appetizer with side of sweet and sour peanut sauce and wife had shrimp egg rolls. For mains, I had red curry, just the right spice. Wife had Yum Woonsen salad, which was a tad too spicey for her. I helped her with it, and it was awesome, a little hot, but didn't cause me to break out into a sweat. Make the trip out to this place, simply great Thai food! Pros: Food, Close to CTA stop more
