The new massage therapist at Splash is absolutely great! Her name is Elizabeth Dear, and I have now had several massages from her. I have used her for sore muscles and joints, and at other times just for stress relief and relaxation. I have never left dissappointed. Finally! I found the perfect salon and stylist at "Splash Hair Studio" her name is Noelle. From the moment I sat in her chair for my consultation, not being sure of what I was looking for, wanted or needed, her confidence, knowledge, professionalism and expertise put me at ease! On my first initial visit to Splash Hair Studio I was under the assumption that they only did hair. While I was having my hair color applied to my hair I noticed that they were set-up for nails as well. I asked to see a menu of their nail services while I was processing, and I was very impressed with their prices and nail services offered. I decided to get a spa manicure. I felt very relaxed and pampered during my manicure. The nail tech Nicole was very friendly and informative. My nails looked great when she was finished! I have been back to Splash 2 additional times since then for both hair with Noelle and nails with Nicole. I even treated myself to a foot and leg reflexology treatment on the second visit. Last weekend I went to Splash Hair Studio for a mens haircut. Colleen was the first non-barber, Hair Stylist who said she could do fades and actually delivered the perfect fade. She was very friendly and knowlegdeable. She almost put me to sleep with her shampoo massage and hot face towel treatment. No more haircuts when my wife tells me its time! What a beautiful salon. It an upscale and sophisticated environment but yet the staff make you feel at home! The stylist are talented professionals who really know hair. I met the owner while next door at Heavenly Ham getting lunch. She invited me into the new studio. This was devine intervention for me, because my hair was really in bad shape. I have lots of issues with my skin and hair. I keep it colored because I began to gray in my early teens. My hair had begun to break and thin due to all the chemical processes over the years. I really needed someone who could keep my hair healthy while still being able to color and perm it. Colleen was a god send. My hair is starting to grow back and become healthy again. I even let her do a partial weave to give my hair some fullness. ( I swore I would never put a weave in my hair!) It looks great, even my husband loved it. I highly recommend Splash Hair Studio. I went to the salon for a color change. As soon as I entered the door I forgot that I was in Raleigh, NC and was transported to NYC! The staff of Splash Hair Studio was very welcoming and extremely professional. The stylist who did my hair was very talented and exceedingly nice. The thorough consultation I received from the stylish assured me that they knew what they were doing and that they were sincerely dedicated to my hair for the time period I was at the salon. The staff accommodation and hospitality towards me was portrayed through their offering of fresh finger food and drinks such as wine, tea, coffee, soda, or water. Their goal to have a multi-cultural staff is very refreshing as well. The ambience and atmosphere at the salon was exceptional, very classy. When I left I felt like a completely different person, I don?t think I ever got as many compliments on my hair as I did after going to Splash. And the 25% discount was also nice! The first time I went to Splash I wanted to try out their basic services. I was so impressed by the comprehensive consultation that I felt comfortable enough to go for color. I got a radiant reddish brown and felt and looked like a new woman when I left the salon. I looked them up online and decided to try on a whim. I did a texturizer and Colleen made sure my hair stayed healthy and moisturized, then gave me a hot style at the end. A friend of mine referred me to Splash Hair Studio on the client referral program. Kudos to my friend and she will get her kudos on her next service because she sent me there. I got a real nice new client discount and a new cut that shed ten years off my image. My stylist, Noelle knows her stuff. Being from Jersey, I was very used to getting great service from a salon, after moving down here to NC I had a very difficult time finding someone who did everything right. Well after years of looking I came upon the website of Splash Hair Studios. When I read that the owner/manager and the stylists were from NY, I knew I had to give them a chance. I got my hair done yesterday (2/13/2009) and let me tell you, I was floored by how good it looked. My stylist Colleen gave me the most "fly" cut that I have every had and I have gotten several compliments already and I have only had my hair done for less than 24 hours. She layed out a flawless partial weave beautifully to blend with my hair, she colored it precisely to match the weave, the relaxer she used made my hair touchably soft and the cut is very diva and edgy just like I envisioned. Cheryl, the owner/manager, even ordered lunch for everyone from the Heavenly Ham next door, which was really great and delicious. The studio is well decorated and comfortable. Everyone made me feel like they had known me for years. Considering that I received a partial sew-in, color, relaxer and a cut, their prices are reasonable, I really expected to pay up to $400, but I ended up paying less than $300 for everything. Colleen also showed me how to maintain my style and I ended up purchasing the tool that she used to style my hair. I want to keep my look for as long as possible.
