Get a New Perspective 5/14/2002

As a visitor, it was nice to see exactly how the different neighborhoods and mountain ranges fit together to make up Seattle. While the structure itself isnt as tall as it looks in photos, the view is still pretty amazing even when its not perfectly clear outside. The cool thing about the Space Needle is it's so retro. You take the monorail there, tool around the EMP, walk over to the Needle... its like you're in the Jetsons. As far as actually going up to the top goes, well, its like going up any really tall building. Nice views, bar at the top etc. Space Needle also gets props for appearing in classic 70s paranoia thriller ""The Parallax View."" more
