World Champs 5/31/2006

People can argue and argue all they want about this huge stadium but I only have one thing to say: this place houses our world champs!! So let's stop arguing about the structure and go root on our champs! If you go see a game at this stadium, you will enjoy the new design and all the great things it has to offer. They have lots of parking here, great concessions, and good seats. It is a wonderful and fun time to come and watch our home team kick some behind!! more

New Stadium 5/27/2006

I like the new stadium. You can feel a little sorrow when you walk in if you had spent much time at the old one, but it is always like that with change. The new stadium has helped with the sun in certain areas which will make it better for a lot of spectators, so I won't complain. more

Wierd Combo of Architecture/ Da Bears 5/21/2006

After a long renovation the stadium itself is a combo of old and new architecture. They thought it was worth it to spend millions to do this. I'm glad they kept "Da Bears" where they are in Downtown Chicago. I will be cheering them on this season and hope to be at this stadium for a game or two. The real diehards still come here to have their infamous tailgater parties even in freezing temperatures and snowy conditions. Their nuts aren't they? more

My, my...someone got a facelift! 5/18/2006

What do you think of when you hear the word face lift? Joan Rivers? Kenny Rogers (yeesh, he needs to ask for a refund...SCARY) or most of Hollywood celebs? Yup, they all had some work done. And so did our beloved Soldier Field. It's all shiny and new, and it looks pretty good. The inside is especially impressive and very modern looking. Even though it can be tough to sit outside to watch The Bears during one of our blustery Chicago winters, you can't beat the view in this area. It's so beautiful. more

Go Bears 5/2/2006

Go Bears! I love the Bears and love to come out here whenever I can to watch a game. I have been here many times and I must say that the new, renovated stadium was long due. The new stadium seems pretty attractive to me and looks modern. It is a fresh change from the old stadium. Inside, things have changed for the better too. The seating is great and the stadium is big and clean. The fans here are really unrelenting. They are out here year after year rooting on the Bears in hopes of scoring another SuperBowl victory. more

Soldier Field - for better or for worse 3/19/2006

The new design of Soldier Field always stirs debate, and sometimes that is a good thing. While the neoclassical colonnade of the old stadium was retained, a funky modern stadium design was plopped onto the site to create an architectural equivalent of a shotgun marriage. The modern facilities are actually quite nice, and the new stadium would look cool if it stood on its own two feet. As it now stands, the design is an architectural compromise. more

Awesome Venue 8/28/2005

This place is a great venue for watching a sporting event. It looks beautiful on the outside with the building integrated into it. Its even better from the inside. It is a state of the art stadium and I recommend you go if you get a chance. more

Looks goofy outside, but it's great inside 8/20/2005

The original Soldier Field was ripped up after the disappointing playoff loss in January of 2002. They then rebuilt it from the inside out. The result is what some people call a UFO. It looks weird from the outside, but it's a great stadium once you get in it. Soldier Field hosts the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Fire. Tickets are expensive, but that's how it goes when the Bears are the most popular team in town. more

Soldier Field 8/11/2005

The Chicage Bears is a great team. They updated the stadium and it looks like a flying saucer that landed on top. Parking and the buying the 2 tickets to the game can be expensive. if you do drive you can tail gating it has been a tradition with the fans here. more
