Our new home, started reeking with bad sullage/sewage smell within 3 days of moving in. Called Sobieski helpline and the lady promised to send someone over within 24 hours since it was a new home and hence a "priority case". Stayed back home from work, but no one showed up the first day. Called back to find out, now the lady said that there was some mix up and the crew will be there the next day between 9AM to 1.0 PM. No one showed up, called the office again. This time they started transferring my phone call from one department to another, residential vs. commercial etc etc..
Finally third day, working from home hoping some one shows up. No one did. At the end of the day received a phone call from one of their "new construction experts". He casually mentions "oh that smell is normal, I promise this always happens with new appliances/houses" - some sort of air plug issue.
Luckily the problem did go away. But all in all had to work three day from home for this phone call. Unfortunately, Sobieski is the provider of all plumbing, a/c heating etc in our new development. So I guess we are stuck with them for a while.
