Heat Pump Fixed Perfectly 2/24/2014

Last Saturday 2-22-14 Sobieski repairman Dave came at 9:00 am (as scheduled) to repair our heat pump. He checked all indoor and outside equipment including the thermostat and analyzed the problem in our heat pump. He made the repair, tested the units/cycles and left everything good as new. He wore his booties the whole time and was extremely polite. We are very pleased with his service. We have been Sobieski customers for over 20 years and just renewed our Gold Club membership. more

I started using Sobieski's service because the other company was less then professional. I am always left with a feeling of "job well done." The only change I've seen over my tenure with Sobieski's is my seasonal service. In the beginning, the appointments were automatic and before the season started. I liked this arrangement: however, of late I had to call to make my seasonal service appointment.. more

Service techs that came to house were terrific. Very professional and thorough. Communication from office needs much improvement. Had to make 5 calls requesting an answer on when my heater was to be fixed and to verify that the part was even ordered. more

The plumber informed properly about the problem and clearly stated what had to be done and the cost before the job was started. .Plumber remained professional and polite. Demonstrated care and concern about my problem. Only downfall is that it is a little on the expensive side. more

Great service but billing was a problem 1/17/2014

The service man was great. But he was not properly informed of the right charge and charged my credit card incorrectly. He didn't have the capability to fix the error at that time. Two and 1/2 weeks later , I still haven't gotten tha credit put back on my credit card. I am hoping that the matter will be resolved after this week! more

His inspection was good but I have a problem of water now. 12/3/2013

He said that we would receive a call setting up an appointment to install the needed part on Monday (yesterday). We did not receive a call. Also, I went into the room where the heater is and I had water all over the place. It was coming from the humidifier pump which did not leak before. I have turned it down so it does not turn on. I want it checked when the man returns. more

A Total Rip Off 11/1/2013

I needed to replace the Cad Cell Eye on my oil furnace (a $15.00 part). The trip fee was $79.00 and change, which I knew up front and accepted. When the technician arrived, he reminded me of the trip charge, then said it would cost an additional $344.00 to replace the part. I had already disconnected the defective part, so all he had to do was insert it into the slot and connect two wires. When I questioned him about the cost, he stated, "The company is entitled to a profit." A $413.00 profit? I don't think so! I paid the trip charge and asked him to leave. more


Help when others left a problem 10/27/2013

Remodeling a kitchen with a new dishwasher, countertops and sink with faucet left a "mess" of connections and a leaking disposal. I called Sobieski and they got an appointment quickly. The tech was professional showing me the options to correct all the problems. He didn't leave until everything was perfect. more

I took advantage of your 2 for 1 special offer on the above for the great price of $69. Our service technician, Steve arrived on time. He was very courteous and knowledgeable giving me some great tips regarding how to most economically run our heating system. Ok Service, bad price 10/21/2013

I had originally called to say that my unit was running but not producing cold air. A technician came out and did an inspection and filled the unit with 2 pounds of coolant. My bill was over $300 Come to find out that there was a special running online for $75 inspection and coolant, but because I did not state that was what I needed and indicated that I may have a problem this was not given to me. How was I to know that this was what I needed in advance. Poor advisement by the technician, and I felt severely over charged.
