You might miss it behind the barred windows and thick brick facade. And although it's no longer a grill, the beer is quite sufficient to fill an empty belly. It doesn't really matter though, b/c if you're truly hungry, you can bring in really swell and inexpensive Polish food from Mazury's Deli only a block away.
Spaten flows freely from the tap as well as a few outstanding Polish selections. Pretense free, the patrons are mostly local and very friendly; and Pat, the bartender, is the kindest sole serving brew on the avenue.
Great low-key place to talk with a friend and make new ones over a game of pool or bottle of Zywiec.
Pros: low key atmosphere, the beer, friendly people and service
Cons: ambience low priority
